I run this settings in FSUIPC Visibility tab Clear:3000 Cloudy:3000 o/cast: 3000 Rainy: 2000 gives quite good results

or you can try the settings suggested in Full Enviroment 9 Manual if you have a registered FSUIPC https://togapjcts.wixsite.com/toga/full-environment-9 leave all other Weather Settings untouched! I use these Settings together with TOGA ENVTEX and FS Global Real Weather

so that tweak may not work for all values but it works well for Terrain Max-vertex

FS9 could be tricked quite easy MipBias=12 //MipBias=7 TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=25 //TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=21 that way it did not change back the vertex 25 or the mipbias 12 when closing the Sim but I did not know if that works also when changing a ingame setting and close sim think I have to run a test for that ;)
