  1. Yea very, back in the days when i brought FSlabs (Around year 2019 during xmas). I knew about that Malware, but some streamers said that was removed later on.
  2. Dear all MSFS Flight Simmers, As you may know, a new Airbus A321 by FlightSimLabs (FSLabs) is coming soon for the MSFS platform. For those unfamiliar with FSLabs, they are well-known in the FSX/P3D world for their excellent recreation of the A320 Family. My Experience with FSLabs and License Issues: I recently attempted to reinstall my FSLabs products for P3D after building a brand-new PC. Before resetting my old PC, I carefully deactivated and uninstalled all add-ons. However, when I tried to activate my FSLabs A320 for P3D on my new setup, I was prompt with an error message, telling I had exceeded the number of activations. Surprised, I immediately contacted FSLabs support. While their website states a response time of two business days, I waited weeks before receiving an "interesting" reply. They claimed their logs showed my serial key being activated on multiple PCs with different CPUs. I explained my situation: I own two PCs: one at home and one at my summer cottage. My main PC, purchased in 2018, was upgraded, including a CPU change from an i7 to an i9. My second PC, built in 2021, has an i5 processor. FSLabs concluded that my records indicated CPU alternations on the same days, suspecting license sharing. They denied resetting my activations despite my detailed explanations. They stated: "Our database logs show evidence of alternating CPU usage on activations occurring on the same days. For example, a 10400F and a 9900K. This is why we suspect license sharing and cannot reset the activations." The CPUs they mentioned (i5 10400F and i9 9900K) indeed match my two PCs. However, I can't remember activating them on the same day as this occurred years ago. Nevertheless, FSLabs ignored my explanations and insisted on their stance. Support Issues: I created two support tickets: The first received a delayed response and was eventually ignored. The second was dismissed with the same explanation as the first. When they advised me to deactivate the licenses via the FSLabs Control Center, I informed them that the software was no longer installed on my previous PC. Despite uninstalling via the Control Center, it apparently didn’t deactivate properly, which I couldn’t control. Community Feedback: While searching FSLabs forums, I found another user who faced a similar issue. According to the post, the CEO suggested contacting local authorities for resolution. The user eventually gave up and repurchased the product. Link: Forum Discussion I believe involving local authorities is excessive for such an issue. It’s frustrating to see paying customers treated this way. Why I’m Sharing This: Although this issue concerns P3D, I’m sharing my experience to raise awareness for MSFS users as FSLabs expands to this platform. Be cautious of how they handle support. I’ve been waiting months for a resolution, and I still don’t have access to my Airbus products. Until FSLabs acknowledges and resolves such issues, I cannot recommend supporting them. Stay safe and support developers who treat customers with respect.
