  1. VerticalSimulations Xplane 11and FS2020 AIRPORTS FOR ONLY $5 SOME AIRPORTS EVEN AS LOW $2 https://verticalsims.com/
  2. well a few minutes ago I turned off my kaspsky firewall then click the fs2020 desktop icon and a windows defender message said allow access to flightsimulator.exe location was E:\1\flightsimulator.exe when E:\ drive is my system reserved drive there no folder there called E:\1 so it must be hidden I should have made a screenshot to prove this aswell
  3. Im trying to find the fs2020 .exe aswell I want to apply some reshade shaders to fs2020 and reshade needs to locate the fs2020.exe
  4. great review for the Pimax for wearing glasses with your headset on to avoid scratches as glasses can press against the headset lense do any companies offer clear plastic removable savvies for the pimax 5k or 8k ?? that can be fitted and removed to clean every so often as the savvies are made of soft clear plastic and shouldn't produce scatches if your glasses press up against them I know they used to be made for DK2 lenses but I tried to buy some but amazon said they were unavalible that way
  5. thanks for that info i think that's a good option motherboard if you need a coffee lake windows 7 pc with usb2.0 and ps2 and duel SLI card support
  6. I got win 7 running on a coffee lake pc !!! using only these 3 extra items I purchased 2nd hand 1) a ps2 mouse and keyboard needed for installing windows menus as the coffee lake usb 3.0 or 3.1 are to new for windows 7 to regonise during the install costing about 4 pounds for the ps2 mouse and 4 for the ps2 keyboard 2) a cheap 4 port or 7 port usb 3.0 pci-e card you can plugin in to you motherboard that will give you mouse and keyboard functionality in windows once windows is instaLLED costing about 14 pounds once windows is installed you wont be able to use the motherboards built in usb as windows 7 wont regonise the new ports but that ok because you've installed a usb pci-e that will give you 7 usb ports I need to do this as I needed tileproxy for my scenery thats work perfectly in windows 7 tile proxy runs on prepar3d v3 win7 using this method boot F8 select disable driver signing enforcement disable UAC in windows and run Prepar3d v3 using FS estoninia start in legacy mode this could be useful info for anyone whos bought a new pc and needs to get windows 7 installed using an easy method ( no skill required !!!)
  7. I originally got the idea from watching some vids from ontheglideslope for vr flying http://www.ontheglideslope.net/category/virtual-reality/ where he was casting an ipad app - foreflight from his real ipad into his vr cockpit and thought is there a way to do the same for android ?? as androids the cheaper option so I did a bit of research and found the vysor android app that could do the same
  8. Hi N1125Y for Xplane 11 VR build flying I think you can create a virtual andriod tablet screen with occulus dash that will show up onscreen when flying in xplane 11 VR mode create a virtual window using occulus dash and apply vysor to the dash virtual window should give the same result - an android tablet in the cockpit for vr flying ( but you will need at least one touch controller to manipulate the dash screen )
  9. Ive found a way to get any android moving map app to work in either P3d V3 or xplane 11 for a windows 7 pc ( note for windows 10 the method might be easier ? ) for example: works with any android app I.E IflyGPS skydemon Avnav Garmin Pilot FltPlan Go ( this ones new on android looks really well done ) use https://apkpure.com/ for installing apps on you tablet that dont show in the default google play store Note : the following method works perfect using flyinside VR software (creating a virtual window ) ( but also can work with occulus dash if you own a touch controller which dash needs to work as their no mouse support in dash) --------------------------------- 1 ) Using a flyinside virtual window first you must own a real android tablet or phone !!! (I bought a 2nd hand 10.1 inch tablet off gumtree for only 15 GBP including delivery ) next you can cast you real tablets screen to your windows 7 pc using Vysor software with its built in chrome extention https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/vysor/gidgenkbbabolejbgbpnhbimgjbffefm install vysor on you tablet and add the extention to chrome browser on your pc set you tablet to debuging mode and plug in you android tablet to your pc via a usb data tranfer cable and the vysor chrome extention will pick it up and shown a your tablets screen on the windows 7 desktop this virtual android screen is fully selectable as a virtual window using flyinside !!!! ------------------------------ 2 ) Connect your tablet to your pc install connectify http://www.connectify.me/ and create a virtual hotspot on your pc then connect your real android tablet to the connectify hot spot Note : give permissons to your firewall to enable your tablet to connect to the created hotspot (connectify-me) great so now your tablets connected to you pc for sending data !! ------------------------------ 3 ) Get your aircrafts position showing on your tablet download from google app store the following GPS to Andriod apps for Xplane 10 or 11 its X-Plane to GPS https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appropel.xplanegps for P3D v3 its FSX2Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=funair.fsx.to.android for FSX2Android to work with P3D v3 the simconnect installer needs to be installed from fspassengers site http://www.fspassengers.com/?action=simconnect now your planes postion will show on your real Android tablet and because its showing on the real tablet screen it will also cast to your pc desktop screen aswell !!! ---------------------- summary now you can fly detailed IFR routes using VR without lifting the headset
