Hi, When I am on AP and I might adjust some flight level, or even when on ILS glideslope, the plane, Project Magenta 737-800 will start to pitch up and down, then up and down and I have to turn of AP, level out, then engage AP again to hold altitude. Any ideas what might be causing this. I have SPAD next, project magenta, CPflight MCP unit, etc.

Hi, I got a Coreflight 737 EFIS unit but I don't understand SPADnext to set it up. They are saying Project Magenta is not supported by SPAD. I need help with Profiles and setting it so SPAD reads PM 737-800 plane. Right now SPAD can see my EFIS and it works when the buttons and knobs are moved, but its just not seeing it when I have P3D v 4 running. I already have a radio and landing gear panel working OK with SPAD. Core is saying I need that PMDG 737 or wait for them to send me a new profile. Maybe someone here can remote my PC to help me get this solved. I have tried going onto the SPAD Discord forum and don't understand anything of it or how to even post a message. Randy

How does one make the screen full, without the lower task bar? I know that Alt key hides the P3D upper icons, but I would like to get a full screen with flying without the lower task bar.

Hi Bob, I am using Project Magenta's 737-800 model. During MCP AT I can only get 40% N1. On start up I do get around 20%. Because the plane speeds up during decent with AT, I usually try just 800 fpm with VS. Do you know how I can get the PM MCP AT to give me 20% during flight if needed? Randy

With my MCP unit on from CPflight at times when I change flight levels, lets say to climb, the plane starts to climb, pitching up on vert speed needle, but then, the plane will pitch downward, then come back upwards and so on and so on. Anyone know why this happens. Also, at times when I am descending, and I set speed reduction in AT, because I am desending, the idle goes only to 40% N1 and speed starts to increase a lot instead of coming down to the set lower AT speed. Anyone know how to adjust it so idle goes to like 20% N1 like when just on start up? I use P3d v4, Spadnext, Project Magenta, and CPflight MCP unit.

Anyone have a CPflight MCP unit. Mine is from 2004, but it was working fine in 2020, when I last turned on my sim. Everything is working as then except CPflight MCP unit. I keep getting this error when I go to click on CPflight mcp: Run Time error 8005 Port already open. Not sure why I can't use the MCP unit with Project Magenta and P3Dat happened. I have not updated anything since 2020. P3D, Project Magenta, SPAD and other items are working fine. Randy

What is AFCAD? I do plan to buy if I can get a hold of someone at their e mail address or even onto their forum, but I have to be approved first. Wow. Maybe after the holidays someone will show up.

Hi, No using the trial version, but it does work for a few minutes then goes away. Are you saying that by buying it I will now see tons of planes on the ground thru the P3D traffic setting?

Hi all, lets try this again. I am still trying to program my buttons thru FSUIPC to disconnect AP or AT. I was told by Dowson that maybe its under "custome control" at top of his button list. I go there and get a little box that wants either those 5 numbers I think are offsets or a hex number?? So I looked at Project M offisets and see this 67591 that says AP Master or on, and I enter that in the little box and hit OK and it shows up on the top box on the right that is for button "PUSH" and hit OK. But nothing works. I go back to the button box and its now back to where I had another AP Master on under PUSH button. Does anyone know why the FSUIPC is not talking to my Project M MCP software/CPflight MCP hardware? Other than not being able to do the AP or AT cutoffs, the Proj M MCP software does talk to my CPflight MCP hardware OK. Thanks

I am using P3D, PM GC and PMsounds, PM MCP software with CPflight MCP hardware. Can someone in plain english tell me just what to do from what they are saying below here. Where do I get the offset lists for PM and or what do I do with this Ox4Fs value 99. I have never used offsets. , Hi all, been off this site for a bit building up my 737 P3D link trainer. I use P3D v4, Project M GC, PMsounds, Sateik Panels, and CPflight MCP unit. I can't seem to find a Project M forum (where would that be?), so I thought I would post this here for now. PM staff helped me set up and fix some PM MCP/CPflight hardware problems, but I have 2 main problems right now. One is I cannot ( after auto loading, PM MCP with CPflight MCP hardware auto starting as well) the AT or AP disconnect buttons thru FSUIPC. Before I had loaded PM MCP software, I could program these disconnects thru either P3D controls or FSUIPC. I am running for now the PM P3D 737-800 plane and I do notice when I set AP disconnect thru FSUIPC that when I bring up with the W key,the main MIP of the default PM 737-800, I can see the MCP master flicker along with the disconnect sound, but not thru the PM MCP software/CPflight unit. Is there an ini setting that I have to edit to let P3D or whatever know that the disconnect should be for PM MCP software and not the default MCP? 2. Is how do I bring up from it being hidden somewhere the PMsounds window? I have it auto starting up but when I hold the mouse over the PMsounds icon and see the window, if I click to open it larger, nothing happens. I am getting sounds and such OK. Just cannot get to the PMsounds main window. I assume its hidden somewhere. Thanks
