its a pity. This is what I do. As the SID/STAR is not transmitted(or not read by the FMC) I must choose tzhe same SID/STAR in my 767 FMC I had already selected in your P2A. Double work. By the way, you cannot export as .fms into the 767 route folder, the FMC is unable to read that extension. You must export from P2A using the FltFactor(.flp2) option. Strange, if you select this extension, the exported file`s extension is only .flp not .flp2. Anyway, the FMC reads this .flp file but without the SID/STAR WP`s. The export of SID/STAR out of P2A was also useful if you run the FF A350. Only god knows why FF forgot to implement a SID/STAR option in the CDU of this great plane. Am not able to send you the FPL`s, how to append them ? If I click on "insert other media/insert existing attachment" I get "you don't have existing attachments". I don't understand what that means

Hello, I exported a FPL which contained SID/STAR into the "Route" folder of my Flight Factor B 767. If i then import the FPL in the FMS the SID/STAR have disappeared. Of course in Config I have checked the Eport SID/STAR function. Why doesnt that work ? RG Christian

I have also missed that it doesnt say "line up and wait". I also wondered why i dont get course advices. But then i thought, i had programmed SID and STAR in the FPL. May by ATC assumes with this the headings are given. Next time i will use a FPL without SID/STAR. Hopefully ATC will notice that i will never reach the RWY on the right HDG if they give me no vectors

b) Have done folder Structure as described in the manual. Cant get it, as said, a folder cannot be assigned to a controller, only one single file. Sorry, probably I am not the smartest one... But I am not totally helpless, have found a trick to play different files in succession:: -I downloaded a very long chatter file containing of 26 messages -Exported it into my Cubase Sequencer -I put a cut after any ATC message and placed the single parts on the timeline in different distances, so that there are different pause times between them -Now I pasted all the different parts together again(pause times in this process are also rendered as set) -Result is that I have only 1 file with 26 ATC messages and with different pause times between them(see image below/Cubase) -I exported this file into P2A and it works great d) I could kill the twa twa twa speaker, I think this was as I hadn't assigned a voice to ATIS e) NOAA set. It works ! However now I have 2 ATIS voices speaking at the same time, one coming from P2A and one from xp11. Must find a possibility to deactivate ATIS in xp11 which is of course not your problem Thanks again, Dave, will buy this weekend. Dave, thanx a) resolved b) Cant get it. Test: I have put 3 files in the Chatter folder. Then I tried to assign the folder to the Clr controller. this is not possible. You can only assign a file, not a folder. If you do so it only plays this file in a loop while the other 2 are not considered. How to let replay all 3 in succession ? c) I leave that, too complicated new pbs d) Suddenly I hear a never ending twa, twa, twa when the ATIS frequency is set. If I select another frequiency the twa twa disappears e) Weather not available. I have xEnviro. But this machine is not mentioned under Config/WX. How to connect xEnviro with P2A ? f) If you change something under Config, is that only active after P2A is rebooted ? E.g. you change pause time at chatter

I cannot get it either. Have downloaded VAC but cant install it because an error message appears. Have found a possibility to lead the windows desktop voice into a Cubase Audio track, have distorted it there by a filter which works good. But the crux is that I cant get the original clear windows voice muted. So what I hear is always both, the Cubase distorted voice(wanted) + the clear clear windows voice(unwanted), that sounds funny and is not a solution

no no, bjwoody61, as stated below. It was my mistake. I changed the Flight Level after filing to ATC. That is not possible !

my answer is yes, definitely ! I tried 124thATC(0€) and xLife de Luxe(19€). Both have their justification and are not bad, but P2A offers a lot more which is why the 69€ is good invested money. I only have some issues with the sounds. I admit, some of them may have not to do with P2A but with MS Speech Engine.... a) When I press the Sayit button I hear a long lasting melody which nerves me. Under Config I don't find a possibility to turn this off b) The chatter mp3 files are played in loop until the change to another controller. If you have allocated a chatter file to this controller, then this one is played in loop until the cows come home. Wouldn't it be better if you hear the chatter file only if you are connected to any controller ? Or is that unrealistic, because the cockpit hears everything which is spoken in their operating distance whether it is connected to a controller or not c) The biggest problem for me is, that the controller voice is very clear, it sounds like coming just like beside from me and not from miles away. I wonder if its possible to let pass the controller voice through an Equalizer plugin which could turn down the signal to a telephone voice level Apart from that as stated above, I will purchase soon RG Christian/Germany

Hello I have done now my first p2a flight from eddh to eddl. P2a had recommended crz fl of 100 but i have changed it to 200. It gives me an initial fl of 4000ft and then of fl 100. Thats it for the whole flight. I tried to climb on my own drcision but p2a complains and advises to sink again to fl 100. What am i doing wrong ? Many thanx fir your input Rg christian

Many thanx Dave. When i checked the "ignore avionics switch" box the pwr field turned green and the controller answered. I have still some minor issues and will open a new thread as you have solved my main problem

thanx, Dave, speech engine installed, am 1 step further... Connected button green, I see my plane. P2A messages: Grammars loaded, Simulator connected, Recognition engine installed. I have all voices under Config set to Zira because some of the new ones fail, all Zira audio tests ok Nevertheless no answer from the clearance controller. Suspicious: -In config/voices I pressed the Radio Test button, P2A says, you are tuned to LISBON 121.8 but I am in Hamburg and under COM2 I see really 121.80 EDDH Gnd -All the path fields in Config/Sounds are empty, is that the problem ? -pwr field in the left bottom corner is red, what is that field for ? -

Hello I am new with P2A and have downloaded the trial version. I generated, validated and filed a FP EDDHEDDL. All works great. ATIS works, can hear it. Now I put the EDDH Grd frequiency 121.8 and used the Say It button to ask for FP clearance, can hear P2A saying that, no problem. But I don't get an answer(have set under Config all voices) Then I saw that I am not connected to the Sim. I pressed Connect and get the message "unable to create Speech Recognition Engine for English US language, installed speech recognizer de-DE, be sure a windows US English Culture Pack is installed". I have not installed it because I dont want to speak myself but using the Say It function and thought so I don't need it. Is the disconnection to the Sim the reason that I don't hear the Grd controller ? Ok, then I have downloaded the English(US) pack and installed. I have enabled it as default and re-started the PC. But when I press the Connect button I get the same message as before. P2A doesnt recognize the English pack and claims again that only the de-DE language is installed although the English pack is active in the control panel. Very strange: In the right bottom corner of the P2A it shows "Simulator connected". But its not, the Connect Icon has not turned to green and I cant find my plane on EDDH. How is that possible ?
