  1. I'm looking at creating something for the flight sim community that people would want to use to improve/enhance their flight sim experience. I wouldnt be looking at making anything directly for the sim as that is not really my expertise when it comes to software development but I'd be happy to take suggestions for websites or applications that people think they would need.
  2. As some of you may, or may not have heard of, MultiCrew is currently in the process of developing its Copilot tool which is made to help pilots organise and dispatch shared cockpit flights. It will help you find a copilot for your sim and aircraft with similar other addons and preferences. Although we are currently in a closed beta we are looking for pilots to join our beta program and help with development of Copilot, if you are interested and would like to join the beta program, you can register for an account here https://multicrew.co.uk/register. We also have a Discord server which you can join to organise shared cockpit flights or just have a general chat, the invite link is here: https://discord.gg/3jHRAkE. If you have any questions about MultiCrew or the services we provide, please dont hesitate to ask!
  3. I'm quite a novice when it comes to scenery development/addon development for flight sim, although I do have quite a bit of experience when it comes to overall programming, and I was wondering how easy/difficult/possible it would be to control scenery objects, for example hangar doors or lights, from a desktop application? I've been looking into using SODE although it seems that SODE is only really meant for use within flight sim, would anyone be able to point my research in the right direction?
  4. Turns out it was an issue with RAAS, PMDG gave me an alternate dll.xml file that did not contain RAAS and it works
  5. I did that yesterday when I was trying to debug and it didnt work, I've also deleted all the generated files but nothing fixes it.
  6. Hi, For some reason after reinstalling the PMDG 744 and installing the 748 my flight sim has just broke, it builds the scenery database then the splash screen disappears and P3D's CPU load goes up to about 13% and the memory usage almost 0.75 GB, I have completely uninstalled the 744 following PMDG's instructions and also tried the debugging steps found in the P3D forums, this has not helped. I really do not want to have to do a full reinstall of P3D but it looks like that is what I'm going to have to do. Thanks, Harry
  7. Hello, I've just started to try and make a livery for the PMDG 747, its going well but I've got a slight issue. I can't seem to find a template for the thumbnail like is included in other PMDG aircraft. Is there one around or do I just have to make one from scratch? Thanks
  8. I sometimes use them but normally put them away in the cruise, from memory they were not open during the crash
  9. I have not overclocked my CPU, I do not have high settings nor do I use My Traffic X
  10. Yes but I didnt use them in the cruise, how can I disable them?
  11. Hi, Whenever I do a long haul flight, around half way to 3/4 of the way through I get a CTD. The faulting path being ntdll.dll. The log I have attached was on a flight from EGLL-KSFO in the PMDG 777. 12. Other scenery like Taxi2Gate Munich and Hong Kong work in v4 but they aren't updated to v4
  13. Hi, For some reason with UK2000 Scenery that is not v4 compatible I get an ntdll.dll crash when P3D loads the auto-generated scenery. My friend has also downloaded and installed UK2000 scenery but he does not get a crash when he loads into the sim. Any fixes? Thanks
