  1. Hi Folks, This is going to be a bit long, please be patient with me if you can. To preface this, I have used Microsoft Flight Simulator 9 (?) and P3D ver. 4 for a number of years, and I think I am going to move to FSX as my one and only. I have an older HP computer running Windows 7, and an array of Saitek accessories; 6 FIPs, two radios, multi-panel, switch panel, yoke and throttle, and pedals. I want to start from scratch as much as possible with a new computer, but I’d like to use the Saitek accessories if possible. What I’d like to get from the group are suggestions for the best computer for FSX, and if I can use the Saitek accessories. I will also use the computer for Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and scanning. Thanks Jerry Michels Gjmichels53(at)gmail(dot)com
  2. This may have been asked before, but I'm unsure if I should buy, the Professional or Academic version. What key features would I miss if I purchased the Academic rather than Professional version? Thanks. Jerry Michels gjmichels53@gmail.com
  3. I think this is the right place to post this. If not, please accept my apologies. I wanted to reinstall FSX on my computer. I have the original disks, serial numbers etc. I inserted the first disk, everything went well, the the computer asked for the second disk, and that went well also. Then a message appeared that simply read 'insert disk.' Nothing about what disk. I tried inserting disk 1 and disk 2, that did not work. OK, my questions is obvious, what disk is the computer asking for, or what do I do now? Thanks for any insights. Jerry Michels
