  1. Thanks for the reply. I found it easier to use SysInternals Process Explorer, find the reference to WinSparkle and deactivate it within the Windows registry. I wasn't able to modify the auto-update since I don't trust software that triggers anti-virus alerts and the "Modify" button was greyed in Windows "Apps & features" screen. I tried again by downloading the latest version and it seemed to no longer trigger the anti-virus, and I unchecked "Subscribe to product updates notifications" and "Check whether this is the most recent installer" - both which are confusing wording ("subscribe" is usually email-related, and when is it "checking" for the installer? once? every day?). It's unclear which of those stops the annoying recurring update notifications: This is the most complicated update package of any software I've seen before. I saw your other comment about how you build it across multiple OS's, but as purchased software this really should be easier (and not a trigger of Microsoft's anti-virus). Thanks
  2. Suggest never taking a “just relax” approach when antivirus alarms are going off. Nobody is “overreacting” when they’re concerned their PC is warning them about malware. And a recommendation of an exclusion could be a disaster for someone who is truly infected. That’s instead a good time for vigilance. I’m also getting these malware alerts. How do we remove the auto-update prompts of this software? My trust level is too low in the quality of this software to let it continue daily recurring execution and prompting annoyingly for software updates. Unless it improves, I’ll no longer be spending money on this software - it has been an irritating mess on my PC.
  3. Hello, does anyone know if there is a way to run a GTN 650 in X-Plane 11 on a Mac? I've had challenges with Boot Camp (because I have a Fusion Drive), prefer to avoid Windows if I can, and would LOVE to buy the GTN 650 add-on. Thanks! Chris
