    I met the same problem with Train button, and you will resolve it by changing in Windows the speech langage , ENG to US if i remember correctly , as it is precised in the manual .

    i said "KP52" after , but no response : maybe, i was already out of the app/dep freq zone ,so it explains the silence ... i don't know . Now, i prefer demanding vfr flight following before take off , the handling seems more fluid . Anyway, i started a new flight from KGCN and now p2a stopped responding (with eternal wheel cursor) when i requested taxi to runway : i send you the log by mail . Hope you find the culprit !

  4. from KPHX, i requested a VFR flight following on app/dep frequency , and it was a complete silence each time . So, i checked the log as usual to see the problem :/ i would like an explanation of this part of the log where it seems to be the problem :

    important information you say here that i would take into account when i will enhance new airports in WED for my next flight . Thx ! It's not possible that P2A take in account the xplane data ? For my next flight in the middle of the pacific ocean, i will feel less alone :)

    At Hififo Airport NLWW , there is "NLWW info" Tower frequency (i have checked in WED for Xplane that it's truely a Tower freq to be sure) but no interaction , nor ATC chatter , in p2A . Could Dave check this for me to find the problem please ?
  7. For VST pluggin, use Lo-Fizer instead of Izotope Vinyl VST filter, and Savihost for VST host . Easy and very realistic .

    P2A is great in IFR flight but for the last weeks , i've been flying VFR , without flight plan and , even it's a bit chaotic with a lot of "you're garbled" ( my bad english withfrench accent) and ATC stopped responding for not yet defined reasons , it's much more immersive and playful . good idea the humoristic touch for more realism and smiles ! NOAA here , and with flight plan filed, i remember it was indeed a quick connection (~10s) .

    thx for the thx ! ATIS xplane was not off with ATC of xplane unchecked . weather still very long (one/two minutes to connect) but i forget to say it's worth the waiting : i wanted to start my last VFR flight without waiting the end of the connection , but it was impossible .... so empty, so boring,without all the ATC procedures for taxi and take off . P2A is a great app !!

    I have some problems like that lastly and i wonder if it's not related to some conflict with left traces of p2a 32 bits on my computer inspite of the fact that i used revo uninstaller to get rid of the traces . I said that because after having installed 64 bits version, i heard two voices for ATIS (not xplane atc ofcourse , but two TTS voices) , and also i could not change voices and volume of arrival tower (like if p2a still using settings i used in 32bits p2a) . i've just removed with revo uninstaller once again p2a and i'm waiting a major update to do more tests .

    Dave, your last 64bits update has resolved every freezes and crashes i had before ; you're really a skilled man ! And thanks to this thread and your last video , the last two days (after a long break) was really instructive about patterns and touch-and-go, around the two beautiful sceneries that are half moon bay (payware) and MisterX' KSFO . The last update of Xplane 11 with the new FSenhancer is really a blast !

    i must admit that, after several tests this week end, Pilot2ATC is not a monster of stability , and i'm a bit surprised that i'm almost alone to complain about this . It has too often freezes (without crashes) after requests during approach phases ; this time, rather than reloading it, I decide to wait for long minutes for ATC to respond to my requests and indeed, it's recovering itself in activity after long breaks with 0% CPU load in task manager . And there was generally no overload of the CPU charge from xplane during these times . Perhaps,the cause it's the excessive utilisation of the sayit+ window (in VFR flight ) which is placed on the same monitor as Xplane , and causing the constant changeover between full screen mode of Xplane and windows mode when i switch to sayit+. If it is the reason , this confirms the necessity of a perfect integration of this window in-game , because it's out of question i use xplane in windowed mode (because , among others, of G-Sync )

    "VFR following" was a bad choice of words , i was rather thinking about pattern :) just a word about the sayit+ window : i saw that laminar continues to improve integration of UI pluggin . Even if i start getting used to the "win98 style" window above the cockpit panel , it will be very appreciated to have an improvement . I know it's not the first time one requests this feature , but now there is no technical reason to not have an integrated sayit+ window in xplane . So ...

    there was several kind of freezes ( i don't know the exact term due to my poor english) but in general, the program was not responding without any kind of messages , or crash report , until i try to close the program . Anyway, i've just finished to download the last version and this evening (if i have the time) i will do a test flight in the same conditions to see if there is any improvment . But if you say that it's possible to experiment any of these three scenario , it's a good news , because i will practice easily in a short time the different flight procedures during an approach around an airport , without the heaviness of the flight plan . So, to resume, press "connect" button and calling the ground/tower/frequencies of the airport directly and the VFR following is engaged ?... great ! And keep on the good work Dave !
