  1. I already did so. Trained with a friend using P3DV4 PMDG 737-800. At Lufthansa Training Center in a Level D Simulator we where able to do a start up from Cold&Dark, Preflight, EDDM to EDDF and back and set it to Cold&Dark again. Absolutely no problem. Doing this in real life with presure of unpredictable instructions of ATC and so on, it is another challange

Remember just over a year ago, we had a sim to end sim addons. (dreams).

I was hoping for this, too. Of course SOME add-ons will always be needed (Expert aircraft i.e.), but my understanding was that MSFS will implement most of them. Now we have the same situation as for decades 🤬. Peter

You can save 10 different cameras, which I also do by voice command. This is incredibly convenient, as I can define/adjust and call the cameras without touching a single button.

    10 per aircraft? If not, 10 is not much, I need 8 for the 737 alone  (Captain / Captain-Overhead / Captain-TQ / Captain Pedestal  / FO / FO-Overhead / FO-TQ / FO-Pedestal). The FO views are relevant for my training.

I use the MSFS cockpit cameras as shown in the video above. There is really no urgent need for Chaseplane. In addition, I don‘t even need to press buttons for the different cameras, because I use Voice Attack and call the cameras by voice command (i.e. Pilot‘s View, CDU, Overhead Panel etc.). In VR mode (which I exclusively use) voice commands are even more convenient.

Ah ok. Is my understanding correct, that I can save a couple of views in the cockpit (position, angle, zoom etc) and call them by pressen a key? 😮 If that's the case the only advantage of CP for my needs is that I can control how fast the camera is moving to each preset.

    1. Wrong Forum - Of course you will switch to P3D v5 !!

    2. Nobody knows how MSFS 2020  will be - or if it will be at all ! 😉

It will be there for sure with the same questions mankind faced in the past: Intel or AMD, NVidia or AMD, P3D or XP.....

They are placed correctly but they appear to be the wrong type of tree. In the sim they look like conifers, which is surly not typical of Miami.

I am not sure if these are conifers, but the type seen in the picture is more correct then palm trees in this are. You will find only a few palm trees but a lot of other broadleaf trees.

  7. We will never see any fireballs, explosions, engines falling off and so on. The Aircraft names are copyright and Boeing, Airbus will not allow Asobo to use them if this is simulated. And I remember after 9/11 the damage model was removed from the FS and I think this will stay.

  8. 1st) in aviation we speak about runway slope (not undulating). For example you enter the "Slope" into the FMC of an B737 nothing else!

2nd) I had an 3hrs experience in an Full Motion Level D Boeing 737 Simulator at Lufthansa Training Centre and I have seen absolute no Runway Slope. It may be simulated for some difficult Airports but not for the standard ones.

3rd) When I look at the pictures of Courchevel or Tenzing-Hillary Airport in MSFS2020, I do not understand why we talk about this topic 🤨
