  1. Wow... I'm sure glad I found the Avsim website. I really appreciate all of your recommendations. Since they're predicting nothing but rain for some time here in the Seattle area, looks like I have time to do some downloading and experimenting. Thank you.
  2. Hello, I searched the forum for some recommendations and I've taken note, but a lot of people seem to want something for flying airliners. While I'd like to do that someday I'm mainly interested in something geared more for general aviation. I recently purchased the Flight1 Beech King Air B200 and would like to fly that for a while. I'm interested in flying from KPAE in Washington to places in California or Arizona or Colorado, places that I'd actually want to fly to when I win the lottery and actually can afford a King Air. So if you have a favorite, preferably free, but not a total requirement, and maybe a good weather app that works well with it, I'd love to hear about them. Thanks
  3. I don't think I did. I should probably just download it again to make sure. I've got nothing to lose. Thanks
  4. "I have tried reinstalling the three versions of SimConnect associated with FSX Deluxe" I have FSX Gold Edition, which has the Acceleration Pack, and am having a problem with an aircraft blocking Simconnect. To rule out any problems with it I wanted to re-install it but I'm not sure how to do that. Can you tell me how you did this? Thanks
  5. Hello, This is my first post so if it's not in the correct location, please let me know. I recently purchased the Flight1 Super King Air B200. I've installed the aircraft and for the most part it is working fine. One problem I have is that when I follow the instructions and open a flight with the ultralight and then switch to the King Air, I get an error message that Simconnect is blocked. I have done everything from exclude the folder from my anti-virus (Windows Defender) and my maleware software (Malwarebytes) and allowed FSX.exe through the firewall (Windows Defender) with out any change. I've also switched to the aircraft with Malwarebytes OFF and the firewall and anti-virus turned off and have got the same results. With all that said, the aircraft seems to work fine. I even followed a tutorial flight in Alaska and everything worked fine. The only REAL problem is that I cannot access the Maintenance Module from the Add-On tab inside FSX. It doesn't show up. I'm not sure what files I should be able to see in the assorted FSX folders but there's nothing maintenance related in any of them including the F1_Kingair B200 folder that is in the SimObjects\Airplanes folder. Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas on why this option is not showing up in the Add-On tab in FSX? I've contacted Flight1 and they've tried to help but the suggestions are mostly to try and unblock Simconnect. I'm not sure how it's being blocked. Also shouldn't there be SOME indication of a file or folder for the Maintenance Module? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Dave
