Building in better multicore support has to happen for all those other things to happen, so that's what I want.

Mine's down to 88.2 GB now after I used the new FTX Central 4 to move my Orbx stuff out of there. \o/

Well, there's one thing that I learned from my Dad and from experience, too. Even if it takes longer to save up for it, quality parts are the better investment - they will last longer and work better. When I tried to be "thrifty" and "save money" (and didn't listen to Dad), I ended up wasting money on stuff that didn't work good and didn't last, and then ended up buying the part I should have in the first place. 🙂

It's V and also can be mapped to a controller button which makes it easier for me cuz I take too many pix. 🙂

Vertx Diamond DA62 questions - chocks & covers? paint kit?
Buffy Foster replied to ozzieblr's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
Thank you! 🙂 I put vector-masked layers with layer blending over them in Photoshop, so the details could show through. You could also use the Replace Color in Ps for some colors (it doesnt always do a nice job, so you have to experiment on a duplicate layer). -Buffy -
Vertx Diamond DA62 questions - chocks & covers? paint kit?
Buffy Foster replied to ozzieblr's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
A paint kit would be real nice, but its not hard to change colors on the color scheme and change the numbers too. Distant Alps by Buffy Foster, on Flickr -
I never thought the Cessna 310R Redux needed any tuning. Its super nice right out of the box. :)

The Vertx DA62 is also worth looking at. 🙂

IDK what ppl mean by "incomplete"; it's a great plane and flies real nice. Even if there are some things ppl want to see polished, it's fully flyable and the G1000 works very well, too. If you're thinking about getting it, I can't see any reason to wait. See how much fun you can be having already: Climbing out of Weiner Neustadt Ost Airport by Buffy Foster, on Flickr

Carenado C90 GTX King Air - Alternatives?

MilViz Cessna 310R is super nice! 🙂 Vertx DA62 is real nice and has G1000 in it. Flysimware has a real nice Cessna 441 Conquest II turboprop that can use the GTN750. -
Any consensus on upgrading to V4.5 + Hot Fix ?

New MS Flight Sim shown at E3

This fellow who had worked in advertising/marketing died and, upon entering heaven, met St. Peter. St. Peter said, "In the interest of fairness, we want to give you the option to stay here in heaven, or to go to hell. You can look around here for a few minutes, then go visit hell for a while before you decide. The catch is that your decision is final -- no changing your mind." So, the fellow started walking around heaven; what he saw, he thought to be a bit boring. People were playing horseshoes, bridge, drinking tea. It wasn't bad, but it did look kind of slow. He mentioned this to St. Peter, and asked for his visit to hell before his decision. Immediately, he found himself standing in front of two huge doors imprinted with "HELL". Expecting the handle to be hot, he reached gingerly for it. Surprisingly, the handle was cool to the touch. Proceeding through the doors, he found a flurry of activity. People were standing around eating, drinking, dancing -- in general having a great time. The marketing fellow thought that this looked like much more fun than heaven, so he promptly returned to St. Peter and told him that he had chosen hell. Once again, he found himself in front of the huge doors. Reaching to open the door, he scorched his hand on the blisteringly hot handle. After entering, he was faced with a wall of flame, and he could hear horrendous screaming and moaning. He stood there, incredulous. The devil walked up and asked if there was some problem. "Yes", the fellow replied, "I was just down here ten minutes ago, and it wasn't hot, and people were partying and having a great time! What happened?" "Well," the devil replied, "that was a demo!!" -
Well, I just hope they don't mess with the market and start fighting with P3D. 🤔

I wish that, since it's made for P3D v4.5, it would use the Add-Ons folder instead of going in the P3D folder. Real nice still, though.

I'd rather wait for nice planes done right if that's what it takes. Meanwhile, I have a new Porter to paint and fly! \o/

Buffy Foster replied to jwillyf's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
You can just download it right from the store, then when you install you put either your license key or email/passwd and it goes It's 2.10 not 2.1 just to be sure. -
Installation of GTN Complete to work with P3D v4.5
Buffy Foster replied to jwillyf's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
Did you install GTN Complete v 2.10? It needs that one; that "update" tool just updates config files, not the program. So you need to d/l v2.10 from the store and install it. -
I use this guide:
