Pilot seat height - Adjustement
Roland_Rcvau replied to Roland_Rcvau's topic in CT206H Stationair HD Series FSX | P3D
Thanks John for the feedback In principle the pilot installed in the cockpit must see the tarmac. Usually it is necessary to raise the pilot's seat by modifying, in the panel.cfg file, the option [VIEWS] Here in aircraft.cfg of the CT206H I have option: [Views] eyepoint= - 9.6, -0.9, 1.60 and it's OK for me Merry Christmas Roland -

RXP - Update folder location rxpGTN-Fs.zip
Roland_Rcvau replied to Roland_Rcvau's topic in RXP GTN 750/650 Touch
After reflection I do not see how I could myself modify the path you have assigned to your update software, by default \ Windows \ System32 If your update is placed in ...> Windows> SysWOW64> beidpp> rxpGTN-FS.zip it is not my fault it is started automatically without any intervention on my part. So I concluded that, being responsible for your software, you alone are empowered to understand this situation and make any modifications to it. Of course I am open to all your suggestions that could improve or solve this problem. Yours truly -

But I'm not sure the update pop-up will allow me to choose the folder that I will have previously created. Anyway the next time the update pop-up appears I'll do what you ask me and keep you posted. -

Hello, After much research I was finally able to get my hands on this file thanks to "Everything". It is in my home in Windows \ SysWOW64 \ beidpp and not in Windows \ System32 as advertised in rxp. See "Update RXP New version" of 06/23/21 -

RXP – SOFWARE UPDATES RSS GNS 750 (resolved)
Roland_Rcvau replied to Roland_Rcvau's topic in RXP GTN 750/650 Touch
On the support page of Reality Xp it is written, I quote: Software Updates Reality XP now offers RSS feeds for our software updates. The RSS feeds automatically update as new versions are released, alerting you to the latest additions. Using RSS feed is very convenient. You can opt to subscribe to the RSS feed, and any time we release updates, you'll get notifications directly in your RSS aggregator (your mail program might support RSS feeds already, like Apple Mail). In addition, when you enable auto-update option during product installation, the software checks for updates automatically when you are flying with our products. In simple language I am trying to find out how I should proceed to install the RSS feed from the explanations and data of RXP. What should I do? Install an "aggregator"? What to do with the XML file specific to the GTN 750? Thanks -

OK! I don't understand why RXP (Jean Luc) says : " If you also prefer using an RSS reader for this, you can directly subscribe to our feeds. More info here: http://reality-xp.com/support/updates/index.html Feed for the GTN (FltSim): http://reality-xp.com/appcast/rxpGTN-FS.xml " ?!?!?!?!?! -
Hello, (I'm bad at computers but I do my best.) I read: "There are different ways to check for software updates" For example this: :"subscribe directly to our RSS feeds. The hub for all feeds is linked to this page (see notes below / RSS mark in your browser URL bar). It is also available at this URL: http://www.reality-xp.com/appcast/rxp-software-updates.xml " RXP (Jean Luc) sent me: (Avsim 24 june) Feed for the GTN (FltSim): http://reality-xp.com/appcast/rxpGTN-FS.xml My question: PRACTICALLY how do I install this set of files so that the updates to my GTN 750 are done automatically. ? Thanks for your help Roland

Yes! Antivirus Windows Defender Win 10 No folder is displayed in the exclusions. I am on FSX Acceleration. Does this update affect the proper functioning of my GTN? If not, how can I stop seeing the update window on my screen? -
RXP - Update folder location rxpGTN-Fs.zip
Roland_Rcvau replied to Roland_Rcvau's topic in RXP GTN 750/650 Touch
Bonjour!
RXP - Update folder location rxpGTN-Fs.zip
Roland_Rcvau replied to Roland_Rcvau's topic in RXP GTN 750/650 Touch
Bizarre Bizarre This morning I have again the possibility to download the update. And now I find the folder rxpGTN.FS.zip in the "Download" section but not in "Windows System32" which is already weird. Right click on rxpGTN.FS.zip in the window the function 7.Zip does not appear?! Nothing in C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Windows nor in "Documents". If I return in "Download" rxpGTN.FS.zip disappeared. ?!?! It is not in Win.Sys.32. To go crazy -

Window for update displayed on my screen. Download update loads Then the following message appears under Windows>System32: "rxp-FS.zip already exists. Do you want to replace it?" I click on "Yes". In Windows Systeme32 no trace of the .zip file NB. Windows 10 is configured to display compressed files (.zip) Mystery?!?!?!?! Do you have any idea about this problem? -
