  1. Hi, will the RXP GTN 750 do VNAV yet? I see that VNAV is now apparently included in the Garmin desktop trainer. Regards, TS
  2. Too bad this doesn't work fully. But, Dataman100, I want to be sure you know that the flight plan does auto-move from the GTN to the G1000, just the waypoint altitudes need to be entered. (They can't be in the flight plan as I recall. ) It isn't too bad if you program keys for the lower right MFD concentric rotary; then you just punch the button for each 100 foot change. Maybe a key hold-down repeat could be set up. We need the G1000 MFD for the weather radar anyway.
  3. I currently fly with using the Laminar G1000 PFD and the Reality GTN 750. I just can't operate the MFD well enough. It works fairly well but has some flakiness. My question is, after the G600/500 is available, how do I eliminate the Laminar G1000 from the aircraft? Regards, TS
  4. Does anyone have a GA aircraft that is running the GTN750 in which en route vnav is driving any vertical deviation indicator successfully? And, while I'm dreaming, will your autopilot fly the descents? Regards, TS
  5. Ok, let me take another approach here. While waiting for the G600/GTN and whatever nav/autopilot integration is available, is there a way to use the GTN with all the sim navigation and autopilot interactions turned off? In the Laminar G1000 C172 at least, GPS nav is "broken" when the GTN is active. Testing in GPS mode, not vor/loc. I've tried turning everything off in both GTN settings. Even if only the GTN radio tuning worked, it would be very valuable. Can we leave the G1000/GFC700 functions alone until the G600 and still get the other good features of the GTN? Regards, TS
  6. hey, thanks, but still (xp 11.21r2) not working. I have the GTN in 2D on top of the Laminar 530 and 430, do I need to somehow disable them?
  7. Hello all, I'm looking for a basic example to get vnav to drive a vertical display indicator. For the XP C172, what should the RXP plugin settings be to get the CDI vdi working. It works fine for vertically guided approaches. I am ok on setting up the GTN flight plan for vnav, I think. At least vnav is working pretty well for me in the Laminar G1000. Or is vnav vdi not going to work until we have the G600? I guess for enroute vnav autopilot coupling we have to wait for XP 11.30 autoconfigured autopilots(anyone seen these?), and use the GFC700 autopilot model that has vnav? Regards, TS
  8. Hi, in doing this export, I have some failures to list. I am exporting these p2atc ifr plans into the Reality GTN750 for import into its catalog. I have not added any user waypoints to the GTN750. FPN/RI:DA:KORH,:AA:KBDL (does not import; comma should not be there?) FPN/RI:DA:KORH:F:N42141W071595:AA:KBDL (does not import) FPN/RI:F:KORH:F:N42141W071595:AA:KBDL (does not import)
  9. I'll just add here that the import also fails silently if your copy of unzipped files into the FPLN folder includes the Garmin pdf. Now that the import works, next step is to see why P2ATC .gfp export won't import. Looks like the P2ATC .gfp export is inadequate, I'll push this over to P2ATC support. Overall, the Reality GTN750 is solving my problem of working with a 15 inch screen without oversize G1000 popouts and without using much mouse control on knobs. Laminar C172, no HSI, S-Tec autopilot. Next is the G600, and hopefully the XP11.3 autoconfigured Garmin autopilot. Regards, TS
  10. Hello, Apologies if this is an old idea. Have you looked at letting RealTraffic read the X plane UDP gps data so that Ipad/Foreflight/others can display the traffic? No messing around in X plane required... I can test with Win10, XP 10,Ipad,FlyQ,SkyDemon if that helps. Ex IBM Power tester, private pilot.
