Hi all, Forgive me is posting to the wrong forum. I feel this is the right place? Looking for a paid version of KBUR & KLGB airport scenery. I did find this from Aerosoft..... https://www.aerosoft.com/us/flight-simulation/flight-simulator-x-steam/sceneries/691/us-cities-x-los-angeles ......however I am concerned this may not play nicely with my other installs of KLAX from FSDreamTeam and KSAN from ORBX plus the ORBX Global Base given the Aerosoft package contains "Highly detailed and customized mesh terrain". Welcome your thoguhts.

Note Active Sky 2016 for P3D is not compatible with P3Dv4. You might look into upgrading to ASP4 for P3Dv4. I purchased ASP4 for P3Dv4 and my weather radar work just as expected. I see this statement on their site... "If you own an ASP4 license, you can use the same license for AS16 for P3D , and vice versa" Note the vice versa bit which I believe emends if you own AS16 then you can simply remove AS16, install ASP4, enter your license and you are off to the races. I might bounce that directly off support before going for it 🙂 Support link here http://support.hifitechinc.com

Mikey, Possible to upload some screenshots of what you are seeing? Version number of PMDG? Version number of P3D or FSX? Version of Windows? Issue on FMC in PMDG itself or a third party FMC tablet app?

They were offering printed for purchase manuals at one time however the link to where they were offered is a deal link. You can have look here http://www.precisionmanuals.com/ProductCart/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=23 Tat is where you could purchase them one upon a time. If you back the URL up a bit you will find no manuals there. For example http://www.precisionmanuals.com/ProductCart/pc/ Some old copy.....and yes it references the 777 however am sure it was same for 737..... "Before you can fly the PMDG 777, they made available for purchase the printed operating manuals, training manual, systems cards, panels posters, quick reference handbook etc.. Select either the complete Chief Pilot Manuals set near 500$ in full color, or just the quick reference handbook at 120$, or maybe the training manual at 50$"

Good question. I found this (see below) so here is my take. I believe PMDG can be "Activated" on one machine at a time. Next see bullet point #2 below. Seems you just contact support, tell them you have one license and two computers. You want to "Activate" a license on both machines however you will only have a copy running on one computer or the other at one time however not both running at same time. I assume they will then say ok, then add something to their licensing server so that you can activate on both machines and you should be good to go. If you do contact them please do share your findings on this thread. I might just do the same so we have a definitive answer for us all 🙂 PMDG License Activation Policy: Customers rights are enforced through the use of licensing that must be activated via internet in order for the product to operate. Customers who run out of license rights simply need to contact our support team in order to be provided with additional rights on an as-needed basis. PMDG retains the right to revoke or restrict license rights if a customers is found to be abusing license rights or violating the End User License Agreement.

I should have included the procedure I used - please see below If you need to reinstall your operating system, are upgrading your hardware, or are installing on a completely new computer system, please deactivate your license manually first through the FMC on the MENU > PMDG SETUP > LICENSE page. This will eliminate the need for you to submit a support ticket for license reactivation after you reinstall.

Hi David, Did you catch this in the included read me file? "One user may use the Software on the Customer's computer where the software was installed; you may use the Software on a second computer so long as only one copy is used at a time and only after having secured a second license permission from PMDG. You may use the Software on a network ONLY IF each individual accessing the Software through the network has a copy licensed to that individual and installed on the machine from which they are accessing the network; and you may copy the Software for archival purposes, provided the copy contains all of the original Software's proprietary notices." Hope this helps a little. I will say as I have migrated to my new machine I uninstalled on the old system first as I only need to run PMDG on my main rig and I also didn't want there to be any possible reason for my license to become locked out over the weekend which would dig into my flying time 🙂

All aircraft in P3D v3 pulling to one side
RobsterSF replied to Christopher Low's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
HI all, I realize this is an old topic however sharing my fix. I tried everything that I could. I deleted all my AXIS in P3D 4.x and still the aircraft would pull hard to the left. Adding them back one by one and still it would pull. Auto Rudder was enabled and still the same. Oddly everything had been working fine for months then all of a sudden one day it started. I've been racking my brain trying all the suggestions in the forum (unless I missed this fix) and several other forums and pulling devices off one by one and still would have the hard pull to the left. I started looking through the list of apps I had installed and I found the Logitech Saitek Pro Flight Yoke software was installed. I do not recall installing however I must have done so months ago when I first installed P3D and forgot about it as I never used it. After uninstalling the software and adding back my AXIS my problem has disappeared. Not sure why it worked for so long then just randomly had issues one day out of the blue however this was the fix for me. Hopefully it may help someone else in the future. Rob
