  1. Hello I wonder, if there are new liveries for the 737NGX in P3D v4.xx already. I tried out the KLM livery for the 800W, which was originally made for FSX. Despite the fact, that both the aircraft.cfg entries of the house livery, and the KLM livery have exactly the same structure, and also the texture files of the KLM livery looks the same as the texture files of the house livery, the KLM livery doesn't show up in the vehicles list of P3D. Have any of you experience with this? Thanks for the help. Henk

Saitek Quadrrant and throttle reverse (reverse trust)

Hi Andrew. Most of the time I fly the PMDG 737NGX. I saw in your post and in the tutorial2 that F2 should be the key for reverse thrust, and works indeed in LINDA. Thanks for helping me out. Regards Henk

    P3D 4.2 and PMDG737NGX - question

A key command in P3Dv4 for thottle reverse should already help. Is there a keypress for that? Thanks Henk

    P3D 4.2 and VRIsim V737 OVHD display

Hi Andrew I run the VRIsim overhead panel with VRIsim.com, and not with Linda. Question is: could I run it with LINDA? Henk
  5. Hi Andrew In Linda, it's possible to program the joysticks. I'm not able to program throttle reverse in P3D itself. Could I program it in Linda? Henk

    P3D 4.2 and VRIsim V737 OVHD display

Hi Andrew The biggest of the 3 displays showsthe Volts and Amperes, the two others show the cruise altitude and the altitude of the destination airport. There are many LED's, connected to the switches. It looks exactly the same as in the PMDG737NGX cockpit overhead itself. Funny thing is that all switches of the VRIsim panel function as they should. If I look the same time at the 737NGX overhead in the cockpit, I can see the switches moving, and the corresponding LEDS work also. Henk

    P3D 4.2 and PMDG737NGX - question

I run P3D 4.2 and the 737NGX with more and more pleasure. I have a Saitek Proflight yoke/ Throttle Quadrant, and the Proflight rudder pedals. For some reason, I tried to program the Throttle reverse on the same slider as the throttle is programmed. Is there someone, who got this working? (In FSX, I could manage it, but I forgot, what I did then). Thanks for help Henk
  8. Hello When I use my VRIsim 737 overheadpanel, together with P3D v4.2, and PMDG737NGX, and the old VRIsim drivers, everything works fine. However there is one exception: the 3 displays, and all of the LED's don't work, like they did in FSX. Is there a solution for this problem? Can I activate this lights and displays with Linda? Thanks for an answer. Henk

    P3D 4.2 and PMDG737NGX - autoland???

Hello to all First, I would like to thank all participants at this discussion for their input. This week-end a made two flights, the first from LSZH to EHAM (ILS Rwy 36R). The second one from EBBR to EHAM (36R). Before this flights, I looked at the tutorials again. Suddenly, I noticed, that with all the previous flights (thanks for this tip to Marc Ehnle), I forgot to tune both NAV's on the same frequency. (sorry for my wrong answer Marc). I think, it must have something to do with my age (75), and also with the fact, that I did not fly the simulator for more than a year. Anyway (me dummy) did only tune the active and standby NAV1 at the same ILS frequency, and left the NAV2 frequency untouched. I am really sorry, that I was so stupid to forget that. Hope you all forgive me, and thanks again for all the wellwilling help. Kind Regards Henk Altena

    P3D 4.2 and PMDG737NGX - autoland???

Approach: ILS approach at Rwy 36R EHAM (Schiphol). Yes, I flew the tutorial twice (FSX, and P3D). after that, I wrote a hand-out for flying the 737NGX, together with the VRI-overhead, the CDU II, and MCP Combo I. According this hand-out (everything according the manuals), I made a lot of ILS flights in FSX, including autoland. However, in P3D, I'm not able to make this autolands. Hope this helps you. Henk.

    P3D 4.2 and PMDG737NGX - autoland???

Hello, I'm not able to carry out an autoland. Setting up the FMC/CDU, like the Introduction manual (i.e. using the Collins MCP, and activate Fail Operational) is done. Still, after having intercepted the ILS glidescope of the runway for landing,Ipress the APP buttonn in the MCP. After that, I press the CMD B button, to activate the second autopilot, but the LED of this button extinguish each time. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for an answer Henk
  15. Good morning, The VC cockpit in the PMDG 737NGX, running under P3D v 4.2 is rather blurry. In the PFD, and the ND, the figures for (for instance) Altitude, Speed, and the TC and TD are very hard to read. Could that be improved? (I must say, that in FSX, that was far more better). The 2D cockpit looks very good. Thanks for any help. Henk
