    P3D v4 & the JS-41

Happy One Year anniversary of the PMDG announcement of the JS41 coming to P3D 'very soon'* *terms and conditions apply, very soon may not specifically mean within the next 365 days. In any case, I hope it's still being worked on, and I hope it will be released within the next few months.

Especially when the only support I asked for was how to activate the legally purchased add-on 🙄 Thanks for the information. I'm sure somehow it'll be argued that somehow it's not FSX.

Yeah, you're right. I should use FS2 Crew, for some reason I've always just made do with me doing all the work (at the expense of proper checks) but I don't fly regularly so I've not been able to justify costs. And now more so seeing as I'm planning to move across to P3D I'll hold out a little longer. Many thanks Peter. I'll check it out again. I read it before but for some reason I thought it was much more complicated than what it is.

Is IAS Hold only meant to work in climbs and descents? Also, how do you load your aircraft cold and dark? I have to reload a flight essentially 3 times to get it to work. Once for the livery, another time at the right airport and another for the correct time. It's not ridiculous but it's very annoying

No in fact mine doesn't either. I'm not sure whether I'm doing it wrong but it didn't hold the IAS I set. I'll have to play around with the autopilot a little more to see for definite.

Actually, credit where credit is due... This is a fantastic little plane. I'm really enjoying it, I love it's little quirks like exploding engines, config warnings and completely confusing autopilot system. I'm slowly getting to grips with it but I'm really enjoying it. The documentation so far combined with various YouTube videos has made this quite a rapid aircraft to learn. Helped also by random clicking of buttons for 'science purposes'.

At this point there's not much sense in them focusing on SE. It does actually work with SE (despite violating EULA etc), so far I've had no issues running it on SE, I think all systems are working perfectly fine as intended. They're planning to roll it out onto P3D, which frankly makes more sense. They should have brought out support for SE years ago, but now it's too late. Most people are moving over to X-Plane or P3D

    P3D v4 & the JS-41

With it being brought into P3D, will we manage to get a method of configuring the aircraft to start cold and dark every time like we can on the 737? I'm getting a little tired of having to load the tutorial flight state and then move the aircraft to where I want. And I'm guessing it will be using the same Operations Centre for livery management? How will the features such as pushback, refueling and passenger management be done without the FMS (i'm coming over from the 737 - so I don't know much of the current functions modelled in the FSX JS41)

Matter of fact, if it violated EULA laws then PMDG's operation centre wouldn't be suggesting how to download an FSX:SE enabled installer. https://imgur.com/5eUSlFf Apologies, struggling with trying to just upload an image using this interface.

That was my thinking as well, if it did indeed violate EULA then I'm sure PMDG would have made it non-functional on FSX:SE. But hey ho, who am I but a meagre customer.

Not to worry, I've managed to resolve the issue and it's been activated. Many thanks for the support.

Apologies. I've added a signature block. I had no issues with the install. It was actually rather simple, it automatically detected the destination and is recognised as an FSX:SE install in the Operations Centre . I fear it's actually an issue on the PMDG side of things. I've read that I ought to be prompted for an activation key when the aircraft is launched, which I haven't. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=731732181 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=731732217 The panel state appears in my aircraft as in the images above. I.e - All displays off, throttle not animated and fixed in the fully forward position. I understand it's not supported, but if it's simply an issue with activation (as I think it may be) would you be able to guide me on how to activate it? I purchased this literally less than 24 hours ago, seeing as the P3D version has been delayed.

Hi, Is support provided for customers who purchased the JS4100 and are trying to run it on FSX:SE? I'm having an issue with it.
