  1. As of this moment, it does not appear that the Dispatcher actually installs liveries into the P3Dv4 sim. My downloaded selected liveries are present in the Dispatcher model areas and saved but the aircraft.cfg files in P3D do not have installed new liveries, only the default liveries. Am I missing a step after associating downloaded liveries into the Dispatcher - the Dispatcher does not translate the liveries into the sim that I can find. Is there a next step? The manual is not helpful here at all. Scott Smith
  2. Thanks all! I did find a download link per w6kd. Scott
  3. All - I have been looking for an ATC add-on and read that RC4 is now freeware via this site. I would like to give it a go. However, I an unable to locate a download link via the library. Is this software no longer available? Appreciate any guidance. Thanks in advance for assist. Scott Smith Eugene, OR
  4. Gents and Ladies: I am an avid flight simmer but have never engaged in team simming. I have been trying to seriously learn to fly properly using FSX:SE, X-Plane, and P3Dv4 simulators for almost a year and now wish to expand my experiences. I am interested in learning the VatSim environment. I have been trying to learn more about it and how to operate in the environment but am having a difficult time of it. I would like to ask if there is an experienced VatSimmer who could walk me through the process for operating my sim aircraft within that environment. I am a visual learner; I can read the reams of instructive documentation until I'm dead but need to see the simple Step 1, Step 2, etc. process demonstrated to lock in what I should be doing. The YouTube videos I have found are not that helpful, unless someone can recommend THE vid I should watch. If a sim pilot here has the time and patience to work with an older guy just aching to get involved, please drop me a line via this forum and I will contact you. I thank you! Scott Smith
  5. That explains it...thanks for the clarification. FYI - I had no issues installing J41 into that sim and it seems to be functional.
  6. Knowing the sim might be helpful 😏...I am using FSX:SE. When I open the Op Center and choose J41 under the Livery tab, there are no selections to download like I had with the 737 NGX craft. I saw in a blurb somewhere that the J41 model requires the user to download from the PMDG website. However, when doing that, I get the XML error in response. Scott
  7. Hi all, There may be an older message about this but I am unable to download any J41 liveries from the PMDG site/Downloads nor are there liveries offered for that model in the Op Center. It could be my machine that can't translate the website downloads but I'm not very knowledgeable with the XML error types. See link below for the result I get. If someone can direct me, I'd be most grateful Scott W Smith https://s3.amazonaws.com/PMDG_Downloads/file_library/liveries/JS4100/PMDG_BAe_JS4100_BA4.exe
  8. Thanks, Kyle...for some reason, nothing in the forum permits me to add my full name. I tried editing the quorum profile but there are no name fields there. Perhaps I missed something when I first signed in so I'll try and remedy that. The name is Scott Smith for the record, from Eugene, Oregon, USA.
  9. I purchased the base pack a few minutes ago and got the following error during the installation that I do not know how to resolve. I understood that this product was compatible for all versions over 3.3?. Missing the PMDG/SIDSTARS/KSDA0D5.tmp file. Where do I find this file?
