Im a retired mining engineer and my only experience with flying is working oversea in Europe and the far East as well as going abroad on vacation throughout Europe and the Med
which I haven't done for years as my disabled wife cannot fly any more so we have to drive wherever we want to go
I've played golf online for over 7yrs ( Shotonline ) and tired of it so hence the new challenge of wanting to fly using a sim. I still go fishing in the summer months at least twice a week and shoot clays every week at my local shooting club. I'm heavily involved in a charity called the RAOB ( google it ) and have been the secretary of my lodge for 20 of the last 50 years and still going strong so I have plenty to occupy myself with alongside looking after my wife who's disabled with MS and my next project is to learn how to fly no matter how long it takes so i'll be permanently attached to my keyboard for the foreseeable future
