  1. I've been using the GTN750 and X-Plane C172_G1000 to fly the IFR magazine "Night Fright" sim challenge. This begins with the BUELT4.FLW departure from runway 30 at KSMX. This departure requires a right turn to heading 190, a direction change of 250 degrees. The GTN preview of the flight plan shows the correct right turn, however when coupled to the autopilot (I'm using RealSimGear GFC500), the turn goes the short direction to the left. Really bad choice in real life! I'm guessing this is some issue with the autopilot rather than the GTN, but don't know how to fix it.
  2. With a flight plan entered in the GTN750 and the autopilot engaged in NAV mode in the X-Plane C172_G1000, the plane follows the flightplan just fine. However, the course shown on the PFD does not reflect the current course. It needs to be set manually. Is there a fix for this?
  3. I had the same issue. Following links in http://reality-xp.com/appcast/rxp-software-updates.xml\, I ended up at http://files.100megabyte.com/realityxp/rxpGTN-XPL.zip which was updated 12 Feb 2021 18:14:23 EST. Downloaded this file, and scanned with Microsoft Defender. No more trojan! It now installs without complaint and runs fine in X-Plane
  4. I’m happy to report that this problem is likely restricted to the C172SP. Performs flawlessly with the x-plane Baron. I now have a reasonable training setup, though it’s sure been awhile since I’ve flown a twin in real life. It’s coming back...
  5. I’m running the latest release of the RXP GTN750 (from two days ago or so), xplane 11.32v2, and the non-G1000 C172. All works well with the autopilot with the big exception of holds and procedure turns. The GTN display will show that the hold is coming up, show the correct entry path on the map, and announce a turn ahead to the proper heading. When the moment arrives, though, it almost always turns in the opposite direction and then gets ever more confused. Same with procedure turns. I’d guess the connection to the autopilot is somehow reversed, but it follows complex GPS routings without trouble. Any thoughts most welcome. This is making IFR practice with this setup pretty tough!
