  1. Seems like the event will start at 7pm GMT and live streams will be available at mixer.
  2. Yeah but what I think what he means is that if family members push heavy traffic downstream (from internet to you) and the connection is shaped at ISP edge (which they will if they connect you with gigabit and you only subscribe to 100Mbps), they will not set prio on any traffic.
  3. Hey man, Connect to your wifi, open up cmd and run this command: netsh wlan show interfaces Show us the output and we can decode it for you. PS. I've got 3.8ms avg to google DNS using wireless (802.11ac)
  4. Nah man, I wouldnt pay that much money for a processor thats not the latest generation, it's not even the K-model. 8TB 5400rpm? I would never put my OS on a 5400rpm drive. DVD Burner? Maybe I'll find some DVDs in my basement from 2002. Wireless AC NIC? I play games with wire. I think i'll build my own rig. Not sure what to do with this thread? Link to local shops with computers that holds the same specs as the MS event did?
  5. Is integrating virtual airlines within the xbox platform a bad idea? I'm just thinking loud, I've never been doing VA or online flying. I'm thinking, create a VA in the xbox platform. Invite your fellow pilots through their xbox id. Get in MSFS, check you want to do a VA flight and your flight data will be uploaded to the xbox platform. Everyone within the VA can of course go to the VA page and see the data, coming in from all of the pilots. Now, if the VA wants to do their own webpage for their VA. There would be a restful API which you can pull your VA data from, and then publish it on the VA's own webpage.
  6. It's basically an infrastructure thing. You need fiber optics to your home, or very close to your home. You can't have 100+ Mbps on a ADSL-connection.
  7. Yea sorry, that would be Swedish Krona, SEK. Which translates to 75 USD according to google.
  8. We know that my local MediaMarkt site has put it up as a product. Now this doesn't mean anything, but anyways, interesting.
