  1. I'm using it currently with 5.3 and it seems to be working well.
  2. Yeah that's caused issues with the horizon for me in the past (one issue was it made the sun appear to go below the ground during sunset/rise but actually was just a weird fog layer it was below). Disabling it causes nice looking horizons above the clouds.
  3. I've wondered this as well, seems like most of the sunrises and sunsets are identical with EA, so IF I had to guess, I'd say it's the same under all conditions at least from my experience.
  4. Yeah the sync option in Orbx has saved my life more times than I can count. Matter of fact, I do it after every scenery install just to be sure.
  5. I use the fastspring method, all are there except the A321 download link, not sure why.
  6. If I saw what P3D looks like now, 20 years ago.... I'd think it's the 2nd coming of flight sims. Even booting up FSX then P3D v5.2 consecutively, if you can say that again I'd be surprised tbh. I do share the frustration with scenery though, but that's a different beast altogether, versus something like lighting or even skyscapes/weather.
  7. Does anyone know yet if this Cloud config file is similar to the one that's been floating around here? Was curious if they adopted some of those changes.
  8. Completed a flight and it works really well on my system, HDR is way more tolerable. Thanks for this.
  9. This seems interesting, I'll give it a try!
  10. What I would do for Flyjsim to bring over the 727 to P3D.
  11. Yup you can use EA on with HDR off as stated above, it's a simple .cfg file edit. The only issue I've found so far is the sun becomes a bit transparent towards sunset/sunrise, a sacrifice well worth it imo
  12. This might have been discussed before, but I was messing around yesterday with the cfg file, you can indeed turn HDR off manually while EA mode is still enabled. It does have some drawbacks (sun is a bit transparent at sunrise/set) but I believe the pluses (cockpit looks way better) outweigh the minuses. Give it a try. Just change HDR=1 to "0"
  13. Does anyone know if the sky colors work in EA mode?
  14. I thought Envshade doesn't work with EA mode on in the first place?
