  1. Hi All. A quick update as to how I resolved this problem. Not a cheap option I'm afraid. After multiple re-installations I came to the conclusion that I was trapped between MSFS upgrades and the lack of available updates for my older graphics card (NVDIA 1060) So I installed a new NVIDIA RTX 5060. Re-installed MSFS again (oh, the joys of a 141Gb download!) and everything worked fine, first time. I now have all of my sliders set to Ultra, even with my underpowered i5 cpu.

  3. I've run into an issue with MSFS 2020, presumably since the last update. Every time I start the sim I'm presented with the initialisation parameter screens. After completing them I can enter a flight. But after exiting and restarting, I am presented with the initialisation again. I uninstalled then reinstalled the sim via the Xbox app, but that made no difference. As part of the flow, I am given the option to load "Essential Packages". If I try to load them I am returned to the initialisation screen, eventually being presented with a blank update screen, at which point the process locks.
