What I don't get is how I can run V4.5 at almost maxed out settings with the fslabs bus at heathrow with orbx, active sky etc and get 35 constant fps with only 3GB of VRAM. Glad I read this before buying because I thought id have no issues in V5 because they are non-existent in V4.5

Well looks like I need a new GPU. My processor is great so I can handle a new card but a 1060 with 3gb isnt gonna cut it, it seems. P3DV4.5 runs like a dream for me with a ton of add ons. Guess I have an excuse now to upgrade the GPU lol

Nothing has changed regarding settings or an increase of add ons over the past two years. I misspoke I have 16GB of VRAM. I personally believe my computer is either corrupting the files or they are being deleted.

P3DV4 64, not sure on the ram or vram but I have had these add ons and this computer for years it just recently started doing it. Could my OS be deleting texture for some reason?

I have encountered a rather strange problem with my P3DV4. DD, Latinvfr and Flightbeam airports randomly go completely black after working fine for a day or two, sometimes three. The fix is to simply reinstall the affected add ons and it will be fine for a few days or so. The problem was much more often until I unticked "empty scenery cache on exit." I have an i7 quad core processor with a 1060 GTI 3gb. I have had this computer and the same add ons for years and now all of the sudden it is doing this. Anyone have any ideas what could be happening?

BernB how can i get the default repaints.xml for UTL? Do I simply just reinstall UTL? I guess then for a temp fix I could just switch around the repaints.xml when going to Europe correct?

Hello, I think I may have narrowed down my CTD's in Europe to a possible incorrect installation of FLAI. I have FLAI models installed into my root sim under simobjects/airplanes. If I disable FLAI from my addons all my add on aircraft and most stock P3D aircraft disappear. Was I supposed to install my FLAI to a separate folder completely outside of P3D?

I too suffer from having the CTD but only in Europe! I can go anywhere else in the world but Europe is the Bermuda Triangle in my sim. I’m hoping you can find a solution. Have you tried running it in compatibility mode for windows 8 like someone else said?

I am speechless. I have forever been able to fly ONLY IN EUROPE without the exact same NTDLL CTD. I cannot wait to try this fix. What exactly is the file location you removed?

I am sorry if this isn't in the right spot, I wasn't sure where else to post but I need a little help. For the past week or so I have noticed that any add on from Latinvfr, Flightbeam and DD have black scenery. Now I can temporarily fix this issue by reinstalling said scenery and it will work. It will only work for one scenario of P3D then on the next load up go back to being black. The area's that are back is the taxi ways, terminal buildings and apron. The land class remains unaffected. I am using ORBX base pack, NA land class and HD tree's. I feel like an insertion point is wrong or something is causing the add ons to go black once I exit P3D. Like I said I can temp fix this for one scenario by reinstalling the scenery I want to use but then it goes black and remains black on next load up. I have reached out to the developers and they have not been able to find a cause. I know it's on my end since three different developers add ons are doing this not one. Any help is appreciated.

Any time I want to use the QW 787 I have to reinstall it EVERY SESSION. For some reason the dispatcher and other files get deleted anytime I use it in game.
