Yes, I have updated P3D v5 for fsAerodata, and I have observed this same phenomenon. I do not think that they have fixed the issue and 2012 came out just a few weeks ago.

Greetings, I have been encountering a problem lately. Every time that I click on the Garmin 530 in order to enlarge it, my simulator session crashes. Aside from that, there seems to be no other problem with the PA44 add-on. Only when clicking on the Garmin 530 does the sim come to an end. Thus, there seems to be a something amiss with it. I have P3D v5 1.0, multiple Orbx products, SPAD.Next, Active Sky, and many other add-ons. However, it does not matter whether whether I use most of these programs or not. Any time that the Garmin 530 is enlarged, the simulator session crashes within seconds. Computer specs: Processor: Intel(R) Core (7) , Graphics Card; NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080, RAM 16.0 GB. The only changes that I have made recently is adding Orbx True Earth products and I have updated P3D v5 for fsAerodata.
