Besides a civilian trainer, no. I think the Asobo F/A-18 has a lot of potential, and people are already trying to improve upon it on Flightsim.to. as for the F-14 in dcs, former Pilots and RIOs have commented and reviewed on the flight model. They says it's very accurate besides the over exaggerated shaking and few other things that need to be worked on. In the end though, nothing will ever truly replicate the real thing regardless of how accurate the flight model is. 👍

As much as I wanted to like the F-14 it ended up feeling way too much like a modern jet with fly by wire. Hopefully down the road the flight model can be improved to give it that old pre fly by wire feel that it should have. As far as textures, I'm sure others will eventually make some that have the wear and tear so that's not a huge deal imo. The Rhino with the enhancement mod from flightsim.to have made it probably the best fighter to be released so far in MSFS. Yes I have a lot of time on DCS with the 14,18,etc; But I think with time put in MSFS can have some high level mods that feel just as good as the best DCS modules. I want to see the fighters on MSFS to be able to stand next to the best DCS has and be its equal as a flight model, and I think it's definitely possible.

Yeah I know about those, I just meant the actual cabin lights where the passengers would be. Even with those on it doesn't look illuminated back there.

This mod is definitely an improvement over the default, thanks a lot for working on this. 90% of my 35 hours flight time have been spent in the CJ4 with your fixes. One question though, how do I turn on the cabin lights? I don't see them anywhere in the cockpit, lol.

There's already leaked info about Ti models releasing down the road with more VRAM. Knowing Nvidia there will for sure be a super or Ti line down the road. 👍 Save your money and wait, both Super and Ti cards blow away the base models.

You are definitely wrong. If Asobo doesn't end up fixing it all enthusiasts grouped with third party modders and dev's will finish the job for them.

Someone already found a way to data stream google maps instead of bing, so I'm 100% not worried about losing that feature down the road. It's been out not even two weeks yet, just because it didn't release perfect doesn't mean it won't be polished out eventually. There's plenty of non sim games that started out way worse than MSFS and were amazing once they were fixed. 👍

The super and Ti will still be pushing their limits on this for sure even if they work out known issues causing loss of FPS. It's insane that they even chose to drop this in DX11 though. The next gen 3080 and 3090 will have no problem on this if they live up to their boasted specs. I'm still not sure if I want to hold off until they release the super cards though.

MSFS has been out not even two weeks. It's really hard to compare it to something that has been updated over the years. MSFS will be a different animal once it gets it's word not allowed together.

We don't even have DX12 yet on this, so that's messing with all of the new GPU's are built around it. Have you looked at the spec for the 3090? its at least 50% more powerful than an OC'd Ti, so saying it wont do much is pretty laugable. I run a solid 47+ fps on 4k High/Ultra mix at the moment, which will probably go up a little with DX12. I've never dropped below 30 even going into KLAX with ground aircraft over 70 on the slider. I'll record on phone or something later when I get home to show my fps. My PC is far from low end. Ryzen 9 3950x OC'd. EVGa RTX 2080 Super XC Ultra OC'd Trident Z 128gb ddr4 3200mhz 1TB samsung 970 evo m.2 2TB SSD. Gigabit internet.

I was an hour late today contacting a guy about a new Ryzen 9 3950x for a steal. It would have been a huge improvement I bet. Though not on that 9900k level though lol.

Mine is the ultra that's right below the ftw. Considering im usually over 30 fps on 4k in between high end and ultra with data on, commercial aircraft at 80, ga at 55, road vehicles at 75, ground aircraft density at 80, etc I'm more than happy. The only time it sunk to low 20s was landing at KLAX mid day with basically full gates at the airport lol. I havent had stutters otherwise, so I'm taking it as a win. Graphics wise anyways, A majority of the planes need work big time The next gen hardware will handle this no problem though.

The Ti gets a whopping 5 fps more than the Super in MSFS. Less if your super is OC'd
