  1. Tried it but that button does not work (INOP) in the default B737.
  2. How do I normally change from FMS Speed (MCP window blank) to MCP Speed during an approach so that I manually can set my approach speed? Last time I was just starting the approach with FMS Speed and somehow the set FMS value was only 114 kts which is very slow..... Can I set that FMS Speed myself or and how do I change into MCP Speed? Default B737 and default FMS.
  3. Maybe a very noob question but do I get Vulkan drivers included when I download the updates to my GTX 1660S from Nvidia GeForce Experience app / GeForce Game Ready Drivers? If not what is the proper and easiest way to do that? Today I have version 452.06 dated 08/17/2020
  4. During an approx one hour+ flight yesterday I had to refuel to be able to reach my destination.....??! I started with 50% fuel onboard and the DA-40 is extremely "non-thirsty" using diesel or JET A-1 so I do not understand why the consumption is so high? The weather was the std Live weather with like 270/03 so no problem there either. When flying this aircraft you use the Load setting to set your power and the prop pitch changes automatically (and the RPM) but in this case I need to reduce Load to about 35-40% before the prop RPM is starting to decrease at all....
  5. A METAR is issued every 30 minutes (XX20 and XX50). The wind speed in a METAR is based on the last 10 minutes (I think) average wind speed and actually the gust can be up to +9 knots whitout the Tower need to mentioned it to the pilot. Same thing about the wind direction it could change +/- 5 degrees whitout the Tower need to mentioned it to the pilot, and it is also an average wind direction for the last 10 minutes. So "Live Weather" is not really Live but instead it is more of "Actual METAR" 🙂
  6. I have checked the "auto rudder assist during take off" because otherwise my AC became a sidewinder during ground roll..... I have a Mad Catz Fly 5 stick and I think I have assigned all axis correct and also set the sensistives for the axis down to about -75 to -90 something. The problem is when I fly GA AC the AC moves/jumps around alot (just like in moderate to severe turbulence) in the air both pitch nose up/down and also rolls left/right so there is absolutely no smooth ride at all :( I do not understand why the AC is behaving like this in the air? I use the Legacy Flight Model so that I can reduce (actually set to zero/null) the P- & Torque influences on the AC. Live Weather is not working for me but I saw on the PFD that the wind direction (mostly) and wind speed changed during my circuits around the field and if this could have something to do with how the AC is behaving? Another story is the elevator TRIM and I have assigned it to two buttons on my stick (Elevator Trim DOWN & Elevator Trim UP). I am used that a short push at the button will move the trim a little bit depending how long you hold the button and that operation is normally smooth. In this case a short push only gives me a "small notch" of trim movement and if I push it longer it will give you a short paus and the start moving very slowly. The outcome is that is very difficult to trim the AC correct because of the rquested trim effect comes to long after pushing the button. In FSX there was an option to set how fast/slow a button push should be repetetive (not sure if that is the correct wording) and this gave a very smooth and effective trim function.
