  1. Hi there, Today I decided to do an ils autoland. I takeoff from Dublin and head to EGSS, London stansted. I have no ifr, I was using the gps and set up a route at the gate while I was preparing other stuff. When it was coming near to the landing I start to descend and then I choose the runway. I chose ils 23, vector, and I think the pink line appears on the other runway( runway 5, but I'm not sure), and then 2 lines that look like circles come up and I ignore it, then I set up my ils, my radio nav 1 frequency and my course. I changed the gps switch to nav and the aircraft starts to change direction, the diamond appears and then disappears and the plane doesn't line up with the pink line and instead follows the white line with the two circles and then goes around the airport in a circle. I then try the same for runway 5 , but the plane refuses to follow the pink line and line up with it. The same results happen ils diamonds, where they appear and then disappear. Making it impossible to tell when to hit approach. I used a 737 max 10 freeware addon. Tui. I changed the callouts in the panel.cfg because it was using an old version of rcgb callouts. Any help would be appreciated as to why that happened. Thanks.
  2. I have found a replacement for the Qantas, but for the other 2 how can i add liveries.
  3. Hi, I was wondering how I could add these 2 liveries to the British airways project airbus plane I downloaded from Simviation. Korean and Etihad. I downloaded it from here https://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=a380+british+airways&x=0&y=0 and it is the last one. I tried to change the livery with qantas, it kind of worked. The livery was visible, but the cockpit was pitch black, except for the instruments. I want to be able to change the livery while keeping the a380 with it's vc. Any help would be appreciated.
  4. Hi, The issue has been fixed thanks. Fmc now works.
  5. 😞 Don't mind the sad face for some reason it won't go. Ok I will try to verify the integrity of the game files, probably tomorrow or when I get free time. I will edit this post afterwards.
  6. I unchecked this but still no sign of the dll.xml appearing there. I found this tool, it is made by the person who made the registry repair tool for fsx (http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library). Should I give this a try?. There is a tool for dll.xml repair.
  7. I don't see the show common extensions, but I do see this option "hide extensions for known file types."
  8. Yes I have show hidden files enabled, but still no sign of dll.xml 😞
  9. https://library.avsim.net/search.php?CatID=fsx&SearchTerm=project+airbus+airbus&Sort=Size&ScanMode=0 Second one down, the a320 is the one I downloaded.
  10. it is not there I checked, all there is is the Fsx cfg and some other cfg, along with 3 other files. Should I move the dll.xml file there?
  11. There is only 2 cfg files and 3 folders but no dll.xml.
  12. Hi, can someone help me with this problem I am having?. So I decide to download this a320 from the avsim library called the project airbus. I followed installation instructions. The aircraft is in game but the fmc has a red 0 underneath it. Sometimes it also turns on for a split second, but then turns back off. There are no sids, stars and the buttons don't work. I followed the guide, where it says to place the xmltool.dll file into the root fsx folder. It also asks me to then place this code into the dll.xml file which should be found in the .....appdata/ roaming, but I found mine in the sdk file in the root fsx folder. This is how I wrote the code <?xml version="1.0" encoding="WINDOWS-1252"?> -<SimBase.Document version="1,0" Type="Launch"> <Descr>Launch</Descr> <Filename>dll.xml</Filename> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad> -<Launch.Addon> <Name>Object Placement Tool</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>..\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Mission Creation Kit\object_placement.dll</Path> </Launch.Addon> -<Launch.Addon> <Name>XMLTools</Name> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Path>XMLTools.dll</Path> ** <DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName> <DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName> </Launch.Addon> </SimBase.Document> I also put this C:\\Documents and Settings\\Your User name\\My documents\\Flight Simulator X Files\\ and doubled each of these backward slashes(\). Where it says Your user name, I obviously put my name. I don't know what i am doing wrong, please if someone could answer and help me. I spent 1 whole day trying to figure it out, but was unsuccessful. I am using fsx:se btw.
