@PIP, thank you, this was exacatly the problem. It crashes after the search for updates with the loading bar at about 50%. Did the re-installation work? Its a boring 5 hours job... Thanks, Andy

Hi all, sorry if the question has been discussed already somewhere, but I have not found it. Currently I get stuck at about 50% of the blue line on the start screen (after checking for updates). Is this still linked with any connections to the server? I tried since several days. And another question...I have installed the sim from DVDs to Drive D. However, the .exe file is located on Drive C: Can this be a reason? Sorry for this (likely) stupid questions, but I am not a hardware/software specialist . Thanks for any help, Andy (opsler 72)
