  1. I believe it may be possible, so long as both systems use the same distribution method (Microsoft Store or Steam). I was able to test this with the following steps which did work for me, but your mileage may vary: Uninstalled the Microsoft Flight Simulator client from Steam. Deleted all of the files and folders inside of %AppData%\Microsoft Flight Simulator except the Packages folder, and moved that folder to another location. Reinstalled MSFS from Steam and launched the client, which prompted to download the packages again. Pointed the client to the path of the Packages folder from step 2, which had it back up and running quickly. Note: the Microsoft Store and Steam versions are slightly different in the folder layout -- inside of the Packages directory you will find a folder called OneStore or Steam depending on where it was purchased from. I don't know if simply renaming this folder to be opposite would make a backup from one platform work on the other, and surely this isn't supported by Microsoft or Asobo in either case at this point.
