    ARGHH! in this case it seems to be my mistake. Ignition-Switch/Magnetometer was set to "Start" (honeycomb alpha controls). This seems to be a bad idea. Need to get my PPL(A) soon!

    rebooting doesn't seem to help here. did it a few times.

    engine is running, alternators online. Garmin is up&running for the first 3-4 minutes, then shutting down. Looks like the Garmin is flashing/pulsing white afterwards.

    Hi there, after many hours of practicing i switched from Cessna 152 to 172. Currently i'm facing the issue of shutting down instruments (displays / Garmin) after a couple of minutes. Is this a feature (screensaver ;-)), a known bug or a low-skill-pilots mistake? (did a quick search, found nothing matching). Cheers Michael.
