  1. Aerosoft caught me once with the Otter. Will never buy from them again ... unless they dramatically change their business strategy and deliver higher aircraft quality.
  2. The DHC-3 Turbo Otter ... would be the holy grail of bush flyer ... heard that Milviz may do it at some point.
  3. MY GOD! You guys made my week!!!! 😃 If Milviv goes as crazy as they went with the 310 on that one. I will have no real life time available left!!!
  4. Hi guys, I do have deep love for the DHC-3 Turbo Otter ... Any of your guys heard about a respectable aircraft designer for FS2020 that is working on that aircraft? That thing is the dream of bush flyers. I dream of flysimware or milviz heading for that model to a study level ...
  5. This is super good news for me. I do love the real king air as an aircraft, but dont like the "light" version included in MSFS 2020. THIS overall resolve the issue. I will follow this closely!
  6. mmm interesting. Does the autopilot code for the altitude links to the GPS code? I personally never add issues with the autopilot with the free version of the GTN 750. But I am considering buying the full release, so I wish I will not stumble on this since I tend to use the autopilot for long hours while crossing long distance while playing OnAir manager. I had many issues with the autopilot over older beta release of the 414. But it is now extremely stable and efficient in the official release.
  7. Good way to enjoy the game. I do love older props aircraft myself. I am quite good learning smaller prop aircrafts but I have to say that the DC-6 is a complete another story. That monster will keep me a while to get a full hang of it. I bought the DC-6 to carry on bigger cargo mission in OnAir (which need to be flown by the player) and to my surprise, the learning curve is way steeper than I thought. But I do love every minutes of it.
  8. You cannot get wrong with Neofly. As I said I fly OnAir Manager, but the reason is that I started to look for a career system while Neofly 4 was in BETA and a bit in a "inter-release" chaotic state. But I did like where they were going. I will give it another try really soon.
  9. Hi guys, like many of you, I fell in love with Flysimware Cessna 414. The attention to details is out of this world and I personally think that this product is top shelf stuff. I was wondering, any of you guys heard about what will be their next project? I hunted around their discord server and even asked the question there ...but got no answer on this. Is it known information at this point?
  10. I do fly OnAir Manager as well. I do like this game because you do not even need to link it to MSFS 2020. This is a stand alone virtual airline manager, but you can chose to manually fly some flight (wih MSFS, P3D or XPlane) for more virtual money or experience points. I do like that aspect since I can quickly have a 15 mins playing session without even having to start MSFS 2020. Every morning, I look at my virtual airline status in OnAir manager while sipping my coffee and provide my orders for the day. And sometime at night, I simply chose to do a flight by myself on a lucrative medical transport job with the Cessna 414.
  11. Actually this is what I meant. I think the OP could think that the airspeed showed is too low, while in fact his ground speed is fast. From KNAviation Wind speed vs ground speed Wind’s Effect on Ground Speed The relationship between airspeed and ground speed is fairly simple. Ground speed is simply the sum of airspeed and wind speed. If the aircraft is flying in the same direction as the wind is blowing, the aircraft experiences tailwind, and its ground speed is higher than its airspeed. On the other hand, if the wind is blowing against the direction the aircraft is traveling in, the aircraft experiences headwind, and its ground speed is lower than its airspeed.
  12. Make sure you check the true ground speed on your GPS. The speed indicated on the air speed indicator on the dash dial is affected by the wind a lot. For example ... you could see 160 knots on the air speed indicator, but you would fly at a ground speed of 188.
  13. Good to know! What is the sound files you are talking about?
  14. LOL!! Ironically the Flightsimware Cessna 414 is my main aircraft in FS2020. I mainly only use that plane in OnAir Manager. However, from time to time, I need to get the Twin Otter for some payload reason. I wish Flightsimware or Milviz would do the twin otter and show aerosoft how a successful aircraft is made.
  15. You are a savior btacon!!!! This mod is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Super easy install too. Thank you very much, I owe you a beer on that one! 🍺
