  1. a combination of bluegrass, Kentucky bluegrass, featherbed bent and northern California sensemilia. The amazing stuff about this, is that you can play 36 holes on it in the afternoon, take it home and just get stoned to the bejeezus-belt that night on the stuff.
  2. If you have a smart home (TV, tablets, Phones, Assistants, lights, etc.) you could use it as your Hub - for all your hard media (dvd's, blurays, downloaded movies) music (CD's), pictures... then all your devices can access all this media from one place. I turned my old PC (i7 4770k, with 16gb RAM, and a gtx870, with a 32" 2k monitor) into a media hub and Plex server. I have over 18gb of music, 570gb of dvds and BR and nearly 11gb of family photos all in one place. I can grant access to it all to my family and friends via the internet. But if you don't wanna do all that - it took weeks to burn all my dvds the drive - give it to a family member or charity - pay it forward.
  3. The new one works great for me. Very stable, high FPS(35-40 in urban areas) on a 43" 4k TCL at 60hz. Running mostly High with a few Ultra settings.
  4. You must 'register' the new version of windows on your new PC, with your existing MicroSoft account. It may take a day or two, but once the new hardware is registered with your new Windows 10 (or 11), you can re-download it from the MicroSoft Store. It can exist on multiple PC/hardware, but can be used only one at a time. I did exactly what your doing this past summer - new Case, MB, CPU, Memory and main M.2 SSD. The only thing I brought forward was my RTX 3070. The main thing is get your new OS installed and stable with all updates available, THEN install or re-install owned software. Post your new specs in your Signature (for us hardware geeks 🙂
  5. There are two ways I figured out in order to have rudders without having physical ones: 1> if you have an available axis switch (I have Automatic Mixture ON and use the Mixture slider my CH Flight Yoke) to assign to it. It ain't perfect, but really, you don't spend that much time on the ground. The other way is to assign "Rudder Left" and "Rudder Right" to two different buttons on your Yoke. The problem there is it's an All or Nothing deal, so you will end up tapping the button very lightly, and often. I'm sure others have ideas about this too.
  6. Carlos... I did pretty much the same thing this past summer, new MB, CPU, Memory and m.2 drive. Installed a new version of Windows 10. When I logged into my Microsoft account, Windows realized it was a different PC, but it retained all my MicroSoft Store purchases, so all thats required is to download and install. If you kept your old PC, it will remain active on that one too, but you can only use the sim on one PC at a time. Good luck and enjoy your new PC...
  7. Carlos... A new CPU, motherboard and RAM may require a re-install of Windows. If you can get away with just hooking up the Windows drive from your previous system, you might be able to get Windows to re-write your new hardware information into the Windows ID. Or, you may have to call Microsoft and explain you have new hardware - since the Operating System keeps the records of your motherboard, CPU and memory in your MS Account. But for MSFS, all you need to get your re-install is go the the log-in to your Microsoft account and go to the Microsoft Store. You should be able to re-download the entire application with no problem. It will even ask you where to install.
  8. To Clarify. The new Alder Lake CPU's can run with EITHER DDR4 or DDR5. That is, the motherboard will support ONLY ONE type, not both. So, if you get a motherboard that supports DDR4, you CANNOT upgrade to DDR5 without buying a new motherboard.
  9. The 12th gen Intel runs ONLY with DDR5..so..no choice there.
  10. Could it have something to do with the fact your in Dev Mode? At least your screenshot indicates that. Try exiting Dev Mode and set the sim to Real Time Weather, them open at an airport near you to compare.
  11. Actually, I'd be more inclined to purchase third party software if I knew Asobo had certified it as Compatible with the application. If I were a third party software developer for MSFS software, having Asobo's approval would make my software more valuable. I could charge more. The competition between other developers would motivate me to produce better, and cheaper software.
  12. As someone who has had NO PROBLEMS with any update, hot fix or upgrade, I welcome it as it improves a product I've already paid for. Every update, upgrade and hot fix makes the product cheaper for me in the long run. Personally, I'd like to see them shut down the "Developers Mode" for every one. Many, if not most, problems arise from people who make changes to .cfg files, databases and other core elements or files, then complain when an update, upgrade or hot fix doesn't work. I'd also be OK with some kind of hardware and software compatibility application. Also, Third party vendors should have their product approved as compatible by the developers. If not approved, it should relieve Asobo's responsibility for any problems or incompatibilities. Of course, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.
  13. There are keyboard commands for Rudder Left and Right, they are very touchie and not adjustable. I have a CH Flight Yoke and found I hardly ever use the Prop Angle Axis which is the default in MSFS on the Far right slider. I re-assigned the Rudder to that axis and use up for Left rudder and down for Right rudder. It's quite usable when you find the right Sensitivity setting for that Axis. And it's absolutely essential when manuvering on the ground for all Prop aircraft.
  14. seems like your OS is loading the new drivers every time you reboot. Turn OFF automatic updates in your windows settings when you have the older drivers loaded, then reboot and see what happens.
