  1. Thanks for that. I suppose I was in denial about the size of my drive! Now comes the bit about swapping over the drive. I bet it isn't as straight forward as copy/paste or clone!
  2. I have assigned a 250Gb SSD to MSFS. (I thought that would be enough). I have just seen that there is another update of 85Gb approx needed to download. When i tried i was told there was not enough space on the drive! 243Gb used. Surely, all these updates are not all new content, just overwrites for bug fixes etc? Does the program keep previous update downloads? I do have an empty 1Tb M2 but will this be enough!!!!!!!
  3. Just what I am looking for. Thanks for that. As I said, I am still getting around the settings.
  4. I hope you all know what I mean by 'Sandbox'. (An area where you can test adjustments without entering a program). I am still new to the sim but I have noticed that, after reassigning stick buttons there is nowhere to go to check that the assignments are okay. It seems that you have to go into the sim, live, to find out if they have 'taken'., then leave to adjust if they have not. Seems a long way round to get your settings checked. Is there a way of avoiding this long winded process? Cheers
  5. I have noticed that this subject was been mentioned in many forums. I have had the usual problems getting the disk version to install etc but, after getting some assistance from Aerosoft, I have successfully got it running. So much so I have not had any hickups as yet, even down to running the sim WITHOUT Disk 1 in the drive! I have the Premium Deluxe version and my hangar is full of the correct aircraft, all available for use. My logbook is being updated as I go through the training. I don't know why I can run it without the disk in, (the only thing that Aerosoft told me to do which I have not seen anywhere is to ensure all Xbox services are selected to Automatic in Task Manager. Perhaps that has made the difference? AMD Ryzen t 3700X, ASUS TUF X570 Plus Mb, 32Gb Corsair Vengence DDR4, 8GB Radeon RX5700XT Gfx, 250GB Samsung 970 EVO M2, (dedicated to MSFS).
