I am just guessing here, but you might have to do the same thing I am searching for and that is clearing content folder or something and reinstall download. I am able to get through the updates, downloads, settings, launch but when I try to fly and get everything set to click go fly.....it takes about the average 30ish secs or minute to have the blue bar load up but then nothing happens......5 min, 10min, 15min, 20....30.....nothing. don't know what to do.

after downloading this morning I have the blue bar of never ending loading......... I have tried to reinstall and double checked everything downloaded the glass cockpit but still just keeps loading and loading but once the blue bar fills up it never switches over and starts...... help

I am so lost. I have been trying to fly since the last update. I don't like everyone crabbing about this sim as it is amazing however they have sucked the fun out of it for me and I want it back. Things are so complex it takes 5min to get everything set up and ready to fly and less to crash because of a stupid mistake. I had install issues from the get go and you guys helped me through that (THANKS) I lost ATC after that and have never had it back. check and keep checking for updates or fixes however there isn't enough time in the day to keep up with everything and everyone and if someone asks a question they get lit up like a wildfire. --ATC control lost --no communication with tower unless computer controlled. --every time I engage autopilot the plane goes into a left dive and wont change. doesn't matter the plane doesn't matter where. --would love to revisit or get a chance to do the "seasonal" flights as some are still getting up to that level as we learn.... not everyone is at same level

DEVELOPERS???? any idea if we will ever get the ability to change planes (weight, configurations, etc) after landing or mid-air like we could in previous version? -what about doors opening and closing?? would love some cargo planes, sherpa airhaul, c-130, c-133, c-17, an-225, etc -what about super fast SR71, f-22 << for those who say do it yourself I'm not that inclined thats why I am asking >>

I am still having issue, tried below solution of turning on and off assists but that didn't work. no ATC panel and it is greyed out. Not personally able to communicate with tower, if computer controlled it "works"

sorry new to the forum thing, that kind of word not allowed annoys heck out of me on other sites, I am searching now and learning how to. I guess I should ask what should a newb do first, second and third.......for the forum......and hell for msfs2020.

I pulled the trigger and purchased, went premium but didn't ask about rotocraft; are there any helicopters? anything or any place to download add-on's anything else I need to know?

yall are awesome!!!!!! I have never been on forum and it is great to have such good replies. I think I am going to at least go for deluxe and depending on how the week goes do premium. I do love the variety of planes but most of mine are cargo or unique planes so I am more excited to see what add on's become available for freeware. right now most my stuff is from https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/fsx/ What are yalls thoughts about the city specifics? I am just outside of Austin TX and hoping to have some decent mapping since the last was so outdated to my area. I love flying around different areas before or after we have traveled there but I want there to be some kind of realism to it. I love island hoping with little planes and sea planes to check out different strips. Supersasquatch - your reply was a big help very intuitive!

I am about to pull trigger and download the game but trying to decide if the upgrades are worth it. I want more planes and airports and disappointed that I can't seem to find them via freeware downloads. Here are my questions........ If I choose standard is there an option to upgrade or purchase more later? I am new to this sight and new to forms so do yall have suggestions before purchasing?? Have you found download sights? Thoughts???
