  1. Thank you very much 🙂 if you don't mind, please consider leaving a review / rating on Google Play or Apple Store, that would make my day 🙂 stay safe and happy flying!
  2. It's mainly teleportation that's new in this update. The mobile app should update automatically via Google Play or Apple App Store. But you'll also need to download the new server application from https://www.fsmaptool.com
  3. Announcing FS Map Tool 1.3.0, an update to the mobile map utility for MS FS2020, available on Apple App Store and on Google Play. It's a simple yet effective external map utility that shows your current plane location on an interactive map, alongside other parameters such as speed, altitude and heading. You can set (virtual) waypoints and it also supports teleportation, so you can go anywhere in the world in just an instant, without restarting the game. Head over to www.fsmaptool.com for more info. I've made this in my spare time as a fun side project. Let me know if you have any issues or suggestions and ideas on how to improve the app. I'm open for feedback and happy to include new features wherever possible. Happy flying!
  4. Just to let you guys know I've just released FS Map Tool v1.1.0 with new features: WAYPOINTS (add by long-tapping, move by dragging, delete by tapping and pressing X) Lock map orientation to either North or Airplane Heading Other fixes and improvements For more info visit www.fsmaptool.com Happy flying!
  5. Hi @Noooch thanks for your suggestion. While I think that would benefit lots of users I don't think I'll be able to implement such feature in the upcoming versions. But I've taken note of and will keep it in mind. Right now I'm focusing on integrating flight plan data (waypoints) and maybe the HUD extension.
  6. Hi @knich that's exactly what I'm thinking of. I am currently researching how to read flight plan data from the players aircraft so I can implement that. Also I will add more HUD information such as flaps and gear position and maybe a small artificial horizon.
  7. You should be able to set the app as a "exception" rule in your firewall settings, so you don't have to turn it off completely. I'm no Windows guy myself at all so I don't know the specifics but you should be able to look it up. Others have done it before 🙂
  8. Hi @ludekbrno and thanks for the suggesion. That sounds totally doable and I've thought about it. It would be easy to implement. User could add drop pins on the map e.g. by long-tapping a point on the map. But I'm currently more interested in reading the flight plan data and inserting the waypoints into the map although that seems more complicated. But I have taken note of your idea!
  9. Hi @109Sqn that sounds again like some sort of networking / router/ firewall settings issue. I'm afraid I can't help everyone on that since it's always highly specific to your PC network and setup. Are you sure both PC and mobile device are on the same local network? Can they reach each other (try pinging the mobile device from the PC)? Make sure only one instance of the server application is running on the PC and only one client at a time is open and making requests. It should work out of the box really. Let me know how it goes. Best
  10. You want the screen to be able to go to sleep? Can't you just exit the app, so the screen goes black after a few seconds? Very glad it worked out for you now too! 👍 Guys, please consider dropping a review or rating on the App Store or Google Play store - that would make my day 🙂
  11. Guys, 1.0.9 is out and available as an update on Google Play. This should fix the stuck at splash screen issue. Can you please update and try again. I hope this is resolved now and the app works on Android too as expected.
  12. The Android "Stuck-At-Splash-Screen" issue will be resolved with the upcoming update 1.0.9 which should hit Google Play one of these days, probably Monday. The other issue is Google Play related. Have you tried uninstalling and then restarting your device before reinstalling?
