for the panel instruments i have everybox checked just like the screenshot you gave. only the " Connect GPS to VOR " isnt checked. still cant turn the GPS CRS.

Hi, i have recently started messing around with the realityxp gns530v2 on the Alabeo PA44. However, since the plane comes with a G600 PFD, i have had an issue regarding the obs function from the gns530. For example, after I have keyed in my flight plan and started flying using the GPS, when i toggled the OBS button via the GNS530, I am unable to freely move the GPS CRS. It does not allow me to freely choose a desired course when i tried turning the knobs. This is not the case when i fly the same PA44 in real world, it actually suspends the upcoming waypoints allowing me to freely choose my own desired track. I tried using the panel configuration to ensure that I have enabled whatever that needs to be enabled. Is there something that i am doing wrong? Tried looking around in the forum and havent been able to find the answer i need.

So to sum it all up, I did a mistake by purchasing the GNS430 which unfortunately cannot be used to replace the GNS530 panel in the Alabeo PA44. Unless I manage to find a panel mod, there's no way else getting around this. Am I right?

So how do I get the 430 V2 to work? I intend to use the 430 which is why I bought the 430.

Just to correct myself in my earlier post, I bought the GNS430V2. However I did the steps as mentioned and yes i do get the pop up GNS window in FSX to be GNS530XP at the top right. I still get a blank screen unless I restore the gauges using the add-on tool in flight. How do I get the Alabeo config tool? I restored the Alabeo PA44 with the built in gauges and tried to carry out the steps above. Where can i find the rxpGNS2.dll file? I dont quite follow the first option. Sorry for the trouble.

Sorry for the late response. Yes I was indeed using fsxse on full screen mode. I ALT+ENTER and managed to get to the setup aircraft tab. There is then a setup wizard pop-up which i chose the option of " Replace Gauges With Reality XP GNS (auto-detected). On the following page I had to select the auto-detected gauges: I chose GNS 530 2 (assuming i'm supposed to input the one that i bought). However it was a blank screen even when i get it to pop-up gauge which showed RealityXP on the top right of the popup. But it wasnt working. What shall I do next?

I am currently using the Carenado PA44 with the included GNS530 from Alabeo. I decided to try and get the Reality XP 430W V2 for FSX-SE which was on sale as the website said it was compatible with the Alabeo PA44. I believe installing was all done correctly as i also do have the GNS trainer. However after running FSX-SE and start flying. I managed to get into "Add-ons -> Reality XP GNS -> Setup Aircraft" and then it brings me to a black blank windowed full screen still under running FSX. I thought there was a problem and decided to close the program in all and try again but i couldnt. i was only able to kill it from task manager. Tried a couple of times but still facing the same error. Not sure if i had make a mistake during the downloading the installer or not.
