I miss flying IRL but substitute the expense of it by flying Microsoft Flight Simulator, I work on/with Computers, I enjoy ethical hacking (improving software functionality like MSFS202).
I've suggested to Asobo to provide us with update version numbers, even with incremental releases, i.e. 1.12.5.0, 1.12.5.1, etc. So we can reference the correct release number. They still don't do that which can cause this kind of confusion.
So you know, I have not experience ground issues after that flight. I believe the sim downloads data from the internet when you enter an area... see the spinning circle in the lower right corner. They call it RollingCache.
Wow... good to see such dynamic improvements on the Longitude. I just upgraded MSFS PD for the Longitude (and Baron and airports) because I felt I was missing out on these great planes. I really enjoy the TBM 930 (better with mods) and my first flight after the download PD was in the Longitude. What a magnificent plane.
One thing that bugged me in the first flight was both touch pads were identical. They are separate in the TBM, meaning I can display two different features on each display. I use one for Coms and the other for flight plan or to select procedures.
Second thing in the first flight of the longitude was I could not figure out how to change the map range. I guess I will figure that out in my second flight.
Third thing: Denver was a disappointment. Large elevation fluke while taxing to parking.
Watch your first step... it's a doozy!
I just read this morning there was a bug with Windows 10 and Chromium browsers (Chrome and Edge) that interfere with Antivirus programs with downloading files.
