I actually like the default map planner but there is one thing about it I wish they would change. When you pick an arrival or destination-why does the huge white box come up that covers all the map detail of that area? Why not just a colored small icon that's not so LARGE? I think this part must have been designed by whoever designed the huge taxi ribbon that makes the sim look like a cartoon.

I have the AMD Radeon..I thought of that as well. Updated driver to the newest and no changes...I wonder if maybe I should try and roll back to a older driver? Thanks...I will give it a go, as I am at loss for options.

I will try and make a long story as short as possible. I was running FSXSE for years with no problem. All of a sudden when I go to "Free Flight" and open it-no aircraft shows in the window. If I attempt to change the aircraft nothing shows in the detail window. this applies to ALL, default and addons. If I start the flight I get only the Panel...no outside aircraft texture...not white or black...just invisible. I have tried verifying the file integrity and un and reinstalling several times. nothing changes. I uninstalled Steam edition and installed FSX deluxe from the DVD's...and guess what? Same problem! It seems like maybe something is screwed up in the FSX cfg file and I have tried deleting both that and the FSXSE cfg file...and then reinstalling...no change. I am 73 and not really a comp whiz but I have followed all the instructions I can find on possible cures to this problem to no avail. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions-I would certainly appreciate your input! Thanks!

I hope someone may be able to help me with this problem. I have added a ILS to Runway 22 at Catalina Island airport. I did it via ADE and it was on the ORBX Catalina Island airport scenery file. I used makerunways.exe and it shows up fine on LilNavMap after I ran the scenery compiler. But when I file a flightplan to land there, I see the ILS feather on the GPS screen but ATC does not offer me the ILS Rway 22 option. It gives me choices of Visual approach Rwy 4 or 22, and several "GPS A" "B" or "C"? I have done this with several other airports (adding ILS with ADE) with no problem, but nothing I try seems to work here. Any Ideas?
