  2. Hi Christopher , i take it you were able to see my photo .....ive only ever used microsoft flight sims since the early 1990s and fell out of the way of and lost interest until it recently... to me i think that its just such a big thing that they have taken on ..the whole world ..that they are reliant on he community to fill the gaps in. which in truth has always been the case. cheers henry
  3. hello everyone , I recently purchased the Glasgow uk2000 scenery, on the whole I was happy with the package , a few wee niggles aside , but having flown (as a passenger ) into Glasgow many many times its a pretty good representation of the airport and for me has improved my enjoyment of the sim , so was £18 pounds too much to pay for that I think not , but there's were costs and the comparison with free products becomes very subjective. as for the 'wee niggles that I had ....I decided to try to enhance the airport by adapting the approach scenery using the google photogrammetry data.I know there are issues regarding the legality of this , but its for my own enjoyment and use and I thank google for providing the data that allows this to be even possible and from those clever folk out there on the web wo discovered how to make use of it and shared their knowledge on youtube. it took me a weekend of trial and error ..but ive now achieved what i had been wanting all along and for me the approach into rny 23 over the clydebank area is as close as i could wish . ive attached a photo ......this is my first post on thi forum so hopefully it will work . cheers clydebank rwy 23.jpg - OneDrive (live.com)
