Thank you, that was my issue, it is a hidden folder on my C drive and when searching I typed the slash. Thanks again for the comment, very helpful. I had to to do a complete uninstall and reinstall to get GTN's functioning again. I do not know how I missed it earlier. Have a great day.

Bert - sorry for the question which is not your responsibility but is the path you describe C\Program\Data the same as "C:\Program Files (x86)\Reality XP" this seems to be where my rtn is installed. I have the black screen even though I by-passed the trojan horse defender warning. I cannot seem to get it to work again and I cannot find the log file which suggests to me my install is cooked or I am not looking in the correct place?
