  1. Never mind, solved it on my own. Turns out for others that not updating your integrated laptop graphics can lead to it even meddling with your dedicated one, my Nvidia driver was of this week, whilst the Intel UHD Graphics driver was from April 2025. Updated that unruly Intel UHD Graphics so that the RTX 4060 could work again. So for next time: 1) Delete Generated files 2) Reinstall the Client 3) Check if there more than one display entries in prepar3d.cfg ([DISPLAY.Device]) 4) Disable (not delete) your integrated graphics to see if thats the issue (what I did, after seeing 0% GPU was allocated to P3D) 5) Update/Reinstall your integrated graphics driver (clean). Even a clean install of dedicated for good measure.
  2. Just installed P3D v4.5 in my new laptop (A HP Victus 16, RTX 4060 8 GB, i7 14th gen, 16 GB RAM, Windows 11 25H2). As mentioned, upon loading, all I get is a blacked out Vehicle Scenario section, the preview of the aircraft (since default, say there's a black screen instead of the F22) Moreover, loading up the flight results in the same black screen. Weirdly I hear the F22 and the audial feedback of increasing/decreasing throttle. As for what I've done in terms of troubleshooting 1) Rechecked Nvidia settings in control panel 2) Reinstalled Nvidia drivers 3) Rechecked the Windows graphics settings, kept P3D to the high performance gpu 4) Reinstalled client 5) Deleted generated files 6) Set load virtual reality to 0 in P3D.cfg (often cited in forums) 7) Uninstalled and Reinstalled the entirety of P3D v4.5 All to no avail. Additional note: The only other exact same issue also happened to a person with a 4060 mobile GPU, on a different laptop. Must note it did work a week prior for his case, while Im stuck with this since installation. The issue:
