  1. The Tigercat model is available now at the X-Plane.org store.
  2. Flight testing around CZST Stewart, my own paint scheme...
  3. @jcomm I would expect so. Work has been done on the Stirling and Hampden with XP12 already so it's reasonable to assume that experience will make its way into the Tigercat as well. Exciting times ahead! :)
  4. Thank you @jcomm Here's another update from Phil https://flic.kr/p/2nC8e9C
  5. I'm planning to use the stock X-Plane instruments so there's no reason not to use the G1000...that will make it a pretty clean instrument panel. I think I would just use the PFD and not the MFD - I think I've seen some real-world examples of that setup, definitely lighter with one rather than two displays. I would want to integrate the AviTab flight tablet, too.
  6. A fun development project to learn 3D and FMOD.
  7. Phil continues to make progress on the virtual cockpit...
  8. VMF-312 "Checkerboards", formerly based at the now decommissioned MCAS El Toro, California USA.
  9. All images depict a work-in-progress, nothing is finalized at this stage. I decided to have a go at making a livery - this is a simple rendition of "374" that is currently privately owned in the United States.
  10. @Murmur Keep in mind all that data is for the XF7F-1 and F7F-1 models of the aircraft. We are modelling the F7F-3 so it wouldn’t be accurate to match that flight test data specifically. The F7F-3 has a larger vertical stabilizer as a major structural difference. I don’t have time at the moment to share my whole perspective but rest assured the data being input to the sim is as accurate as I can find in order for the flight model to perform as best as X-Plane is designed to simulate the aircraft. I want it to match the book performance numbers as best as possible with as little cheating as possible.
