I'm new to the site but a long time flight sim user. I still have fond memories of taking off from Meigs Field in Flight Sim 1. Over the years my setup has become increasingly sophisticated (and expensive) and now fly RealSimGear G1000 panels to support my Instrument Rating training.
Over the years I have flown about every version of Microsoft Flight Simulator, Jet, F-16 Fighting Falcon, Black Shark, Apache 64 (loved that game), F-18 Interceptor (on the Amiga), XPlane and countless hours in DCS.
My hardware has spanned early Thrustmaster kit (remember the FLCS?), Warthog HOTAS, Saitek/ Logitech controls and panels, a Bell 206 collective, Honeycomb yoke, and of courseTrackIR and touchscreens for hands-on immersion.
I don't fly online as much as I'd like and am selling some unused equipment including my Iris Dynamics yoke 😞
