Hi, it is getting more and more anoying to use the PBE Product with the FBW (Dev and Exp version). First the problem with the tug is pulling you forward in the middle of the PB (Ok. A Problem with the FBW EXP Version 😞 ) So I start using the FBW DEV Version and it worked fine...for a while. New: When I start the PB (Voice Control, Distance Mode) the Tug is fully connected and I asked for Pushback ("We are ready for pushback...") no reaction from "Ground" but a message is displayed "Please set the parking brake". For sure the brakes are fully set in C&D Mode. Switching the brake from On to Off and back did'nt help. So I killed PBE, start pushback helper and pushing back like I did before I start using PBE. Maybe it will work with the Stable Version, but I believe, that only a few users will use the stable version, because of missing features that are already included in the DEV. For me the PBE is not usable 😞 😞 I've read in the FBW DOCS, that the developers changed some variables, so maybe the PBE is not ready for the change and is not able to read the status auf the Parking Brake. Using Voice Control. Switched off the "pushback" within the FBW EFB (Exp Version). What did you mean with "standard pb"? I use Distance Mode. Frank

Hi, ok. I will not use the stable version, because the DEV/EXP Versions have much more functionality. I'm pretty sure that the PBE Problems: TUG is start "pulling" you forward after a few meters pushing back NEW: You can't start the pushback, because PBE asks for "seting the parking brake", but the brakes are set are related to the new flyPad V3.0 (see: https://github.com/flybywiresim/a32nx/pull/6528) that is introduced a while ago in the DEV Version. Yes, this will change daily and it's hard to support this "Continous Depoyment", but I'm sure, that todays DEV will be (hopefully shortly) tommorrows STABLE. So better be prepared for that upcomming "trouble" 😉 So I will stop using PBE until these problems are fixed. 😞

Same Problem with todays "actual" Experimental Version. Maybe a problem with the "new" pushback within the FBW EFB?

Had the same problem. You should check first the InstallFSUIPC7.log (located where you installed FSUIPC. Maybe you'll find an error related to the EXE.xml file (like I do). Checked the EXE.xml. Mine was coruppted (maybe after installing VDGS (from noolearo)). Deleting the EXE.xml and reinstalled FSUIPC and reinstalled the VDGS Addon (Mandatory for iniBuild EGLL and some freeware Airports with VDGS) fixed it. FSUIPC now starts during startup of MSFS like before.

Hello Dave, after installing the actual Public Beta Vers. 2b I run into the following problems: After customizing taxiways and gates for EBBR (location, naming, gate type...) I want to save my work via the Save/Load tab to my disk for backup and/or editing in notepad (e.g. allocate list of airlines to gates). With the actual version I receive an error message (popup window), stating: "Gates failed to save for EBBR" and p2a creates an empty file. Saving the taxiways works fine. For the same airport, there was an "old" airline assignment (BEL) at three gates. If I do a search for BEL in taximnt -> gates -> Gate Search, taximnt will highlight (pink) the gates (120, 205L and 207) in the map. If I try to delete the assignment (unmark BEL in the "airline assignment" portion of the Gates tab) and press "Save Changes", nothing changed. The assignment is still active. Tried the folling to "fix" it: Reinstall Public Beta 2b (run as admin) - same problems, but logfile looks different as the one before reinstall as admin (see below) I'm running p2a as admin. Tried to save already customzide gates from other airports (e.g. EKVG) without any problems . Saved these also into the same folder where I tried to save the EBBR customisation without problems. Hello Dave, I'm running the actual Beta Version (1f) and using taximnt very often to correct wrong (position, naming, type...) taxiwaxs and gates (default or from MakeRunways). So I open taximnt with maximized window, when editing. Most of the time I have the Navigraph Charts opened in another window on screen (One Monitor only). The taximnt window seems to be configured (p2atc internaly?) that it always stays on top of the screen. Therefor I'm not able to fast-switch (<ALT><TAB>) between taximnt and the navigraph window AND also "subscreens" of taximnt (e.g. "Rename Path") will be opened or better stay "behind" the taximnt window but they are activ. One can type "blind" the input for the rename and press enter and the rename window will be closed. Is it possible to change this behaviour only for the taximnt window or make it user configurable? "only for taximnt" because I always use this Always on Top "feature" during the game with "Info". Example: When I need to insert the destination data in the MCDU (MSFS with FBW A32NX), I open the Info and weather information in p2atc and switch back to the SIM and the litte info-window stays in the upper-right corner of the screen. So I can enter the infos in one go without the need of switching windows. Thanks Frank

Hello Dave, I have two questions Just installed p2atc Version 2.6.3.0 Public Beta 1a. When trying to use taximnt, the taximnt window did not open at all without error notification. Is this a known problem or something changed? I'd like to (re)configure the installation of ATC-Chatter to use "Country Folders" instead of the "Controller Folders" and the "Default Region". As far as I understood, I need to change the folder structure in p2atc (at the moment it looks like: <Path to p2atc exe>\Sounds\ATC_Chatter\Regions\Africa|Asia|Canada|Custom|Europe|Oceania|South America|United States\Controllers\<All Controller folders>. If i get it right, the new country based structure for e.g. Europe should look like: <Path to p2atc exe>\Sounds\ATC_Chatter\EB|ED|EE|EF|...EY|LA|LB|...LZ\<All Controller folders>. Here starts my question: Do I need to insert all european chatter/sound controller files from the Stick and Rudder Europe-ZIP in every country folder? This will waste a lot of disk space 😞 OR Did I need to find out which controller-soundfile belongs to which country and copy them to the correct folder structure (simple with soundfiles like "EU-FRE-EHAM-001.mp3" goes to: EH\DEP_Gnd\, unclear for me is a file called "EU-HTS-001.mp3")? Hi, thanks for your response. I tried to add the airline(s) ITY and EJU (easy Europe-Austria) in the Airlines.csv with Excel. During startup of p2atc it produces an Database Error: "Unable to initialize Database. Index was outside the bounds of the arry". Restoring the csv (made a backup before Excel Edit) and p2atc starts as usual. Editing the csv with an editor (notepad) was succesfull - p2atc starts normal and both new airlines are available in config (callsign) and taximnt. Problem solved! Thank you @Dave-Pilot2ATCI have another question for you: I use simbrief and navigraph charts for initial flightplanning. I did not use SID and STAR during the planing because I like the idea, that p2atc will assign the departure and arrival procedures (and runways probably based on weather). I import the flightplan (rwy - route - rwy) from navigraph (export - copy to clipboard) without SIDs and STARs/Approaches. After connecting to MSFS the plan will be filled and p2atc assigns a SID for the runway (sometimes p2atc changes the rwy because of ATIS) and adds the SID direct into the Filed FP. After clearance I edit in the MCDU (FBW) the Departure with the given information from p2atc. Thats fine and works perfect! But whats about the "timing" for the STAR and approach information from p2atc? Mostly I receive these infos ("expect the XYZ with the XXX Transition for ILS...") near the TOD waypoint. My questions: Is it possible to adjust the time for the announcment, for instance 5min in front of TOD waypoint so that there will be time to recompute the MCDU and crosscheck the routing and constraints? When p2atc assigns the STAR and APPR for the destination, I need to add these in the p2atc plan "by hand" and rerun Validate and File. Would be nice, if theses Infos will be automaticly added and filed like it does with the SID? Maybe for the next Beta? 😉 Hope you can understand my broken english Frank

Hi Dave, I checked the possible causes from the second scenario and really found two "crazy" taxiways going from waypoints in the middle from a taxiway to waypoints on runways. After deleting this it worked as expected. Thanks for your fast support!

Hello, I "customized" the taxiways and gates for EGKK (freeware from flightsim.to - a must have) within p2atc. When I check in taxi mnt the routes from "Gate to Runway" and from "Runway to Gate", everything looks fine, the little "needles" showing the corrcet (shortest?) routes. After loading MSFS (A32NX FBW) in C&D at a gate in EGKK, creating and loading a flightplan in MSFS and p2atc, I asked the controller for taxi to the active runway. Controller will not giving me an calculated route, he only advise me to "taxi to runway XX". Any idea whate can cause this unexpected behaviour? If needed, I can send the exports from taxi mnt for the taxiways and gates (Gates assigned to "my" airlines) Im using the actual p2atc beta d Thanx Frank

Hello Dave, First let me say Thank You for this great Program. As mentioned, I use it on every single flight together with the ATC-Chatter Extension and AWS Polly voices. thanks for the information. So I will edit the twy inside the exported txl files and will use "O" for the Outer, "I" for the Inner and "L0-L5" and "LA" and "LD" for the Link taxiways. And will wait on the future version. Will you provide the enhancement in the Beta-Versions? Frank
