Hello, and thank you for this great piece of software.
I have set up almost everything I need, and it works great with the Saitek X52, Stream Deck, PXN V10 pedals for rudder control, etc. I even got a six-position car sim manual gearbox controller assigned to drop flaps and control "gear down and up" on the A2A Piper 250—it even makes the same sounds. 😉
As I experiment with various approaches to setting up a trim wheel using my PXN V10 steering wheel, I have encountered a problem. The Windows 10 Game Controllers app clearly shows precise movement of the wheel under Axis X and Axis Y.
However, AAO's "Add Axis" function does not recognize it. At one point, it appeared as "Slider 0" but has not shown up again. Can you suggest steps to resolve this issue? Also which axis, once the the wheel movement is recognized, should be chosen?
I have recalibrated the wheel, restarted the PC, checked the blacklist, and refreshed the hardware. All controllers are working fine—except for this one. However, as I mentioned earlier, it is clearly detected and fully functional in the Windows Controller app.
