Hey everyone - Happy New Year!
I was hoping to get your help on trying to tweak my MSFS to deliver decent frame rates on a fairly good computer. Currently I can only get 25-35 fps regularly while flying and if I'm at a busy airport like Heathrow, my fps is 15-25 while looking around the cockpit. I'm currently only flying at 1080p to try and reduce the demands on the computer, but that doesn't improve FPS majorly. I am running default graphics specs on high
It appears as if I'm main threat limited (see screenshot in link below), but my GPU / CPU utilisation is only ~30%. I get a similar sort of perofrmance when I fly smaller aircraft like the Cesna (drops to 25 FPS when looking around the cockpit).
Are there any graphics options I should definetely tweak down to meaningfuly improve FPS? Specs of my computer are:
- Ryzen 7 3700X
- 16 GB ram (3200 Mhz)
- Nvidia RTX 3070
- M.2 500 GB
