I would try using the "Polly Player" that comes with software bundle, and see if it works there and is not a problem with your AWS profile or internet connection.

Thanks Dave. The problem seemed to have "fixed itself" last night. I just decided to sleep on it and it started working again out of the blue. However, when I started to program the first time it worked it was really slow and almost crashed a couple of times but now it works fine again. I know it wasn't internet as I didn't have problems with MSFS or any other applications that require online service, but I will keep the rest in mind if the issue happens again.

Pilot2ATC was working fine for a few days after I bought it but now neither the maps or the ATC work. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the application and restarting my pc but neither had an effect.
