Hello there!
I hail from the not-too-distant land of SOH (been a member there for almost seven years now). I figure it's high time I check this site out. I've been an avid aviation nerd since I was a kid and picked up flight simming in the early 2000's (somewhere around '01 or '02). My first was FS98 followed by a trio of Novalogic combat sims (F-16, F-22, and MiG-29). Other flight sims I've played throughout the years were CFS3, FS2002, FS9, FSX Gold Edition, and FSX Steam Edition. Now I'm enjoying the sweet 64bit goodness of P3Dv4.5.
I'm a private pilot (based out of KAVL) with a penchant for plane spotting. I post my still shots on Deviantart and my videos on YouTube under the same username if you fancy a look. Shameless plug aside, I'll fly just about anything in the sim, from small GA to wide body airliners, military to civilian, fixed wing to rotorcraft. If it can fly, I'll give it a try. I enjoy tinkering with and fine tuning flight dynamics and if I find myself in a creative mood, I'll make the occasional repaint. Speaking of which, I'd love to share some of my work here, but it looks like I need a separate library account to do so? Looking through the FAQ now, though any additional tips and pointers are much appreciated.
