    I do have DX10 checked in FSX display options. So I've now ticked that box in DX10 Fixer now. Thank you very much for your reply.

    I've recently bought Steve's DX10 Fixer (v5.4 Build 156) for FSX (disc version with SP2). I'm just wondering if it automatically runs in the background without any prompt from me at FSX startup? Anything I need to do? Secondly, I'm a bit confused about the User Preferences box "Check for FSX running on Startup". Do I need that to be ticked or not? I know it's in the manual but it's not clear. Thanks!!
